i once read this haikyuu crack fic like five years ago i can no longer find on ao3 called 'buff kenma' where essentially the premise was how kenma was just extremely buff and also happened to believe the earth was flat and he hated flat earthers besides shoyo and kuroo -- anyways i think a mcu bucky fic based on this would be so funny.
it'd definitely be more crack treated seriously, but bucky ( post ca:tws ) instead of going on the run hauls steve with him and sets him up in an apartment because he starts acting like a buff bodyguard who wants to protect steve ( doing a full 180 of his programming ), and since he doesn't otherwise have a full reference for personality he's just sort of a big puppy bodyguard who doesn't really know a lot but has the general spirit

getting his memories back is a slow proses, but even having been a 100 year old super soldier who's been an assassin for the last seventy years, he still can't belive little things like the moon landing ( steve partly thinks it's the funniest thing while sam can't tell if he's being serious or not ) and it's just dumb little shenanigans like that lol <3
