As the number one training provider for the shares/trading industry our client have trained thousands of trading professionals worldwide at their global training centres. Due to their exceptional success over the last 5 years (part of fast track 100 for past 3 years) the company are currently going through a growth phase and are looking to hire an Operations Director to join the London based team. As the Head of Operations/Operations Director you will report into the MD on a day to day basis and oversee day to day operations within all departments.Key Responsibilities of the Operations Director:Oversee the day to day operations within all departments (Marketing, Events, Client Services, HR & Recruitment, and Finance).Manage 2 Operations Managers (Europe Operations & Africa Operations).Travel in EMEA - typically travelling for 5 days per month.Manage and sign off marketing monthly budget & manage marketing team towards hitting budget.Attend events and ensure correct procedures and standards are being met.Brainstorm and implement new ways to improve customer experience.Manage correct staffing levels and conduct employee reviews.Accountable for company P&L, work with the MD and management team to implement ways to decrease cost and increase revenue opportunities.Experience:The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience within an operations manager's role working with multiple departments within an organisation.The candidate must have experience of managing budgets for events and marketing teams, managing budgets within larger teams would be preferable.Direct line management experience.Commercially astute and the ability to manage P&L.The candidate will need to be excellent at multi-tasking and be highly organised.Strong communication and people skills.
