🌈 Buddy earned his angel wings today. 🐕 🙏🏼 💗 👼🏼 I’ve had a lot on my plate since returning home from my surgery. This is a Major Life Change I sensed coming but I can honestly say is never easy to face or handle. I won’t go into the details other than that Buddy was communicating to me in a way only he could! 👉🏼Sometimes They Choose for You Even When it’s Not What You Want to Do! I actually went through this with my Angel 7 years ago. At the same time I was in the process of buying my house — which I was selective in finding for her! I brought Buddy to the same CountryChase Vet I’d brought Angel to because of the compassionate care of their staff! It was where I was reminded “Our animals will go to the ends of the earth for us! But sometimes we need to choose for them because they are here for us!” See, I wrestled with if I was being selfish for Me or selflessly loving & considering Buddy’s best interests! I spent thousands of dollars on acupuncture, B12 injections, & other homeopathic care for Angel’s last few months because I didn’t want to let go! I based my making the choice for Buddy on if it was for Me or for Him! See, he was telling me it was time for me to spread my wings & for him to earn his angel wings! He knew the only way for me to move forward in this next chapter of my life was for him to leave! 😭 Knowing & Saying this doesn’t make it any easier nor does it change how many times I second guessed myself! It’s just that I knew I didn’t want to put Buddy through what Angel went through. Animals are our biggest teachers but often we’re only looking at the surface of their existence! They’re our Earth angels serving us for only a short window of time until that time has expired! Trust within is the key to honoring the Gift they are for us!
