Can't Get Enough of Sailing Omens
Here's a little snippet from my next Sailing AU - Buddy Boating. Azira and Toni are women sailing singlehanded in a man's world. This scene takes place after the two have a disagreement and Toni storms off. Neither of them stay angry long before they apologize and make amends.
Toni laughed. “Does that mean we’re good?” “Yeah, we’re good.” “Well then,” Toni moved closer, “can I kiss you?” “Can you keep it from being so hot? I’m not sure my heart can take any more excitement today.” “I’ll try.” Toni tenderly touched Azira’s cheek and leaned in. She pressed her lips chastely to Azira’s, stroking her cheek before breaking away. “So the answer to that question is ‘obviously not’.” Toni grinned. “Maybe we have to practice more until you get bored.” “Challenge accepted,” Azira replied before sealing the deal with a kiss. ⛵️⛵️⛵️
