Oooh that one is fun I've been wanting to do a horror movie au for tvd for ages and while ready or not would be perfect for delena I cannot write that ship 😅 cannot do them justice but the invitation 👀 Okay so for anyone hasn't seen the invitation it's a horror movie about Dracula and his three wives basically. And I was watching it and I thought the blonde 1920s wife Lucy kinda reminded me of Caroline and Victoria was giving Katherine. So I thought wouldn't it be fun if instead of Dracula it was about the Mikaelsons? And each wife secured them a connection with different supernatural factions rather than real estate etc. So for the first wife from 1000 years ago we've got Finn and Sage for traveller roots. Then we've got Kalijah and doppelganger roots from 500 years ago. We've got Klaroline and werewolf roots from 100. Once the process is started then the window between each connection gets shorter and as Kol is the next in succession it's his turn to find a wife! Enter Bonnie and her witch background.

So we've got Bonnie living in Chicago going by her father's name and she'd taken up the catering job to spend time with her at the time boyfriend Jeremy when he'd been working at art galleries. Through the job she met Nora who's filling the movie role of Grace. Now at this point Bonnie's Grams has died and her dad has also recently passed with her breakup and Nora only living with her on occasion she's feeling pretty isolated and alone having a moved away from her home town to follow Jeremy that the idea of connecting with family through this DNA kit is kinda appealing. Nora doesn't really understand why she'd trust a creepy kit over a spell and it's not like she's alone she's a honorary member of their coven. Bonnie doesn't bother explaining that she still feels isolated from them as she's not a heretic. But she does connect with her cousin Lucille Bennett and discovers her heritage as a Bennett witch. Nora thinks she must be up to something Bennett witches are notorious for being secretive so that means there's a lot of spells that aren't shared around, perhaps Lucy is hoping to get her hands on one. But Nora encourages her to meet her and see what she can find out

So if course Bonnie is going to go through with meeting Lucy and her family, all those Bennett's she never knew about. And in the process meet Kol and the other Mikaelsons and realise that the supernatural world is so much more vast than she realised

It's gonna be fun I just gotta try to figure out how to write it as a satisfying happy ending rather than how it ends in the movie.....

Oh my god I feel so much shame in how long updates are taking with her 🫣 I cannot get my head back into the right head space but here's a quick outline of what's coming

So chapter sixteen is gonna feature another winter planet as the doctor is still not feeling his best after the aftermath of 42. But this time they're going to a Christmas fair type of deal which is going to lead to them uncovering a plot and running for their lives as per. And the Doctor is going to realise he's had enough of playing it safe after the whole telepathic sun invasion and the best distraction is adrenaline, his favourite coping mechanism, which is going to lead into chapter seventeen the first novel rewrite 'the last dodo' and then I believe after that we're celebrating Rose's birthday, we've got one more filler and then it's blink

Lil snippet from the beginning of Chapter Sixteen:

Rose got lost in memories for a moment, "Mum always used to say that she was gonna get a window box one o’ these days, actually make use of some of that rain. She never did. Just as well, she couldn't keep a plant alive for the life of her." "Doesn't surprise me, you've seen how she makes a cup of tea. Dread to see her do anything more complicated than that." The Doctor chimed in with a feigned shudder. Rose used the close proximity to lightly elbow him in the side with a bemused look. "And you still drink it every time!" "Well," The Doctor started, in that way of his, with a shrug, "you can't watch Eastenders without a cup of tea." "My mum's tea saved your life." Rose started to rebuke but her familiar retort was lost under Martha's surprised outburst. "You watch Eastenders?" The Doctor hummed, "Though I must be a couple of episodes behind now. I wonder how they tied up that ghost storyline?” "Dunno, didn't think to ask Sarah-Jane when I visited, oddly." Rose teased, causing the Doctor to nudge her back with a faux admonishing look. "We can probably check the media room when we get back." "Can't believe you watch soap operas." Martha muttered in disbelief on Rose's other side. "Oh yeah, they're an amusing look into a species’ culture. Seeing the extremes of a society laid out plainly for entertainment purposes, is rather illuminating." Rose rolled her eyes, "Ignore him, he likes the drama." She told Martha in a stage whisper.

I really need to get back into it I can't believe I have plans for thirteens seasons and I haven't even finished the first fic 😭
