We will be celebrating from July 20th to July 27th, 2026. Mark your calendars!

We will be using the following prompts:

Steve & Nat are alive. Melina too! Chosen Family. Found Family.

2. Tues July 21, 2026 - Alternate Universe

Drop them in other worlds you love, get as wacky as you want! exp. fantasy, ancient, pacific rim, attack on titan, twilight. anything! Or replace your ship with them. drop them in a romcom, movie, tv show, anime, book.

3. Wed July 22, 2026 - 5+1

5 times Bucky, 5 times Yelena, 5 times whoever whatever. Make a list, any list.

4. Thurs July 23, 2026 - Memory

Yelena & Bucky have a past together. Red Room. Or Post Winter Soldier, Post Red Room, Pre Thunderbolts. Or Repressed/Missing Memories.

5. Fri July 24, 2026 - Porn Without Plot / A/B/O/Omegaverse

we just want them to tie the knot.

6. Sat July 25, 2026 - Getting Together

first confessions, first kiss

7. Sun July 26, 2026 - Songfic

any song you want. any world.

8. Mon July 27, 2026 - BUCKLENA DAY - Enemies to Lovers

FIGHTING. VENEMOUS WORDS. enemies as widow and winter soldier, or enemies as strangers, enemies as teammates.

Make sure to use the hashtag #BucklenaWeek2026 wherever you post your creation.

PROMPT: Writing Fanfiction based off Fanart! (also fan edits and comic panels). (Join the discord to see all BuckLena art compiled in one source!) On the other side, for the editors, artists, gif makers, manip makers out there you can create based off your favorite BuckLena fic. (here's an example of a fic edit: I, II from another fandom)

2 Easy and Simple rules

1. Make sure to credit the fanart/edit/creation your fic is inspired by and add a link to the original. (can be at the beginning or end notes) 2. All generative AI is strictly prohibited from the event.

This event was created to give back to the creators in the fandom. To show appreciation for what they have created. Inspiring each other within the fandom.

On the tumblr and/or discord, message us and link us to your work so we can promote it!

Make sure to use the hashtag #BucklenaWeekend wherever you post your creation.

On Ao3 you can also submit your fanfiction to the Collection: BucklenaWeek2025.

How to add to the collection. Simply input: "BuckLenaWeekend" into the "Post to Collections/Challenges" area and press enter. When you post your fic it will automatically be added to the collection!

How did this event come to be? Well we found out the talented @yucalorice and I shared the same birthday. If you don't know who @yucalorice is she is the most dedicated BuckLena artist. We are so grateful for the countless amount of artwork she's fed us. She has even been dubbed "BuckLena's Princess" due to her contribution in the fandom. Check out her twitter. And hi, I'm G (@gahdamnit), the creator of the BuckLena discord, co-runner of the BuckLena events, fic writer, occasional gif maker, and above all fic enthusiast! This event was created to give back to Yuca and the other creators in the fandom. To show appreciation for what they have created. Inspiring each other within the fandom. ***the weekend has changed by a week to accommodate admins personal life. Give us time to fix the poster.

3 Days, 1 Prompt

So what makes this event different? It is a 3 day celebration rather then a week long one. And is centred around one prompt. Creating Fanfiction based off Visual Creations!
