Wait guys theory about Hermie's birth
Since Anthony called Scam and Jodie Hermie's birth parents, it leads me to believe Hermie was quite literally mpregged into this world. My friend and I decided that Jodie probably brought one half of Hermie into the world, and Scam birthed the other. (Tbh I imagine it more like building rather than actually birthing. But mpreg is objectively funnier so we shall call it birthing)
It also helps that only one half of Hermie's body got burned. The un-burned half could have been Jodie's, because of the demon-fire-resistance thingy. Everyone assumed only half of his body got hit, when in reality half of his body was immune to being hit
So Hermie would be ½ Shapeshifter, ¼ Hell demon and ¼ human, but Hermie 2.0 would just be fully Shapeshifter since only Scam was there to build him
(Unless if Scam has a secret safe in the Goofs realm filled with Jodie's dna or something. Then Hermie 2.0 could still have Hell demon and human in them)

My cishet dad ALSO likes pretending I'm not trans. I've come out, and I've suggested a name change, but he refuses to acknowledge any of it. Not only did he refuse to "deal with any name change stuff", he sometimes corrects my mom when she tries to use my preferred name (which isn't often — she isn't exactly supportive about my genderfluid identity either) with the very same upset voice he uses when correcting people about his preferred name.
