Dewey never meant to put too much focus on his crush rather than his friends, but despite that his brother discouraged Dewey's interest in Tiffany Muttonfudge, he was still testing his luck and sticking through it. Not that he was pushing something further behind anyone's backs, just ... staying close by in case the right moment finally came. Regardless, it was beginning to catch up to those around Dewey that he was distracted. He would've never kept Bubbles waiting this long normally — a close friend who, at some point in time Dewey also had feelings for. He would always think Bubbles was something special, but he had pretty much grown to accept that nothing would ever happen between them, especially if it hadn't already happened by now. Still, as he jogged up to the entrance of the arcade, he flashed her a smile as he saw her waiting, feeling some guilt for getting caught up with Tiffany.
"Good, I'll even buy us some food to make up for it," he promised. Though he was relieved she was unbothered, deep down he had a feeling that Bubbles could never really be too angry with him. Dewey noticed the brunette's curious gaze, clearly hesitating at her next question. "Oh, I was working on Dewey Dewnight stuff with a friend, we lost track of time," he shrugged nonchalantly, motioning for her to follow him inside the arcade. "Should we eat first, or play first to work up an appetite?" @bubblsu
