You came into my notifications, on my post that clearly was not meant for you, deliberately misread what I wrote, and now you’re trying to pull the victim card? Hard pass, kid. I called you and your little friends children because that’s what you’re acting like. Don’t want to be treated like a child? Stop throwing a tantrum on someone else’s post just because they think differently from you!
Also, did you seriously just call me ‘evil’ because I have different opinions and did not react well to you screaming at me on my own post????????? By the way, if you took a look at my ‘bryke salt’ or ‘anti bryke’ tags, you’d know that a) I greatly dislike them for a variety of reasons, and b) I think they’re hacks who had some decent ideas and stumbled on a goldmine of writing talent for their first show, talent which did not follow them into any post-canonically materials, including the sequel series, and that I don’t think they could write a well-developed romance to save their souls, so if you wanna interpret that as me believing they’re ‘intellectually inferior’ then so be it, I don’t really care. They can cry about it all the way to the bank.
If you interpreted any of what I said in my original post as me hating on ppl who don’t ship it, rather than saying if ppl don’t understand why it’s popular (regardless of whether or not they ship it) then they are either lacking in media literacy skills or are lying and bitter, that’s on you, not me. Because I’ve said, again and again, that I don’t care if people ship it. I just don’t believe anyone who understands things like parallels and symbolism and foreshadowing and romantic tropes wouldn’t see those things in abundance over the course of Zuko and Katara’s canonical relationship development.
But I didn’t tag that post with kataang or maiko for a reason. You’re the one who decided to crawl all over it with your indignation and blow up my notifications, and at this point, I’m done caring. Bye felicia.
