I feel like I'm holding on to a past idea of us, and we're both putting on a charade. We don't want to acknowledge the fact that we are both changing and growing apart, because we both know if we do, it's going to hurt.

And then there's always so much to find out. Everyday would be like a new relationship with a person. You know when you meet someone new and you're just getting to know them? Their likes, dislikes, their little quirks? Their background, their past and where they're from. It's like that with dance but every day. There's so much history behind each move. The origins of different styles and it just never ceases to fascinate me.

If dance was a person, I'd marry them in a heartbeat. I'd fall in love over and over again never to fall out of it. They'd be there for me in my happiness, in my sadness. In times of struggle and pain, but also to celebrate the successes. Everyday would be pure bliss, just knowing that I'd be going back to them at the end of the day.
