hey i saw ur post in the btvs tag about skipping 6x19 Seeing Red, if you wanted to still see the episode while just skipping over the scene it's from about 23-26 mins and then there's another like 45 seconds starting around the 29-30 mins mark after the scene with Buffy still visibly upset that you could also skip. but the last couple minutes like 39 mins onwards are kind of important.
(below is more detail on how to watch the episode while skipping scenes pertaining to the Thing™)
but yeah you could easily watch from the start of the episode to about 23 mins (23:23 for me) ending with a scene of Buffy fighting a vampire in a cemetery at night which then cuts to a shot of the outside of her house and Spike only shows up like 10-15 seconds later), then skip to nearly 27 mins (might depend on your version for 26:34 is a shot of the outside of her house after everything's gone down which then crossfades to a shot of the city) then to a scene in the Bronze until the scene at the Bronze ends then you see Xander entering Buffy's house (starting at 29:28) and talking to Buffy (starting 29:41) right after the Thing™ happens and if you wanna skip that you can skip to around 30-31 mins (for me 30:14) then when that scene ends, it goes to Spike in his crypt and it's night time and there's some flashes back to the scene so you can either skip to about 32 mins once the flashback flashes are over (31:32) and another character shows up to talk to Spike or skip to like 34 mins (34:13) for the start of the next scene. and then watch to the end from there.
(hope it's okay i sent this, i just can't fathom skipping an entire episode of Buffy as i love the show so much but it's also a pretty important one, and i understand not wanting to see that, so i wanted to provide a spoiler-free way you could watch it without having to witness /that/ scene)
Hey, I really appreciate this!! My original plan was to skip the episode entirely and read the plot section for the episode on Wikipedia. Someone's been kind enough to offer to tell me what happens in the rest of the episode.
From what I hear it's an important episode, so thanks for this. I'll be using it as a reference for later!!
I'm really into the show, and I cannot believe it's taken me this long to start watching it. I'm aware of how lucky I am that I'm watch it for the first time.
Thanks, again!! <3
