You can see from the tension of the skin around his eyes it was hard for him - he was really excited at the beginning of the session and getting frustrated easily, so we stuck with well-known behaviors and for short durations. With all the precipitation in the last week, the wolfdog containment at #packwestwolfdogrescue turned into a mud pit. The woofers loved it, but the humans, not so much. Volunteer and staff hauled in a cubic yard of bark mulch one wheelbarrow at a time to cover up the worst of the mud. It won't keep the wading pool water any cleaner, but the woofers can keep their feet dry now. #wolfdogrescue #maintenance #behindthescenes #btsatpackwest
