That is really cute!!! 🥺 here’s my take on it 😂:

Namjoon: cries because you called him “little duck” and he’s scared of ducks

Jin: cries because he thinks “brisket” would be a cuter nickname than “sweet pea”

Hobi: cries because he loves being your favorite “petal”

Yoongi: cries because he doesn’t want to be a “peanut” he wants to be a human

Taehyung: cries because he thinks that because you called him “muffin” he’s turning into a pastry

Jimin: cries because he found it so cute to be called “buttercup” he wants to change his name and you won’t let him

Namjoon:

kept watching the John Hopkins virus map to the point you had to take it away from him because he scared himself 

you’d so much as blow your nose and he’d come up to you all “did you know that South Dakota already has 21 cases? Also in Nepal there's...” 

had you write down all the CDC’s suggested safety precautions in a red marker and put it on the fridge

counts to 20 slowly whenever either of your wash your hands

“one one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, four...” 

thinks quarantine is reading time and pulls over every book for you to read

Jin:

is a little annoyed over having to stay home 24/7 but likes that you’re stuck with him

frets over getting sick

one time you sneezed and he yelled “STAY BACK WITCH” and sprayed Febreze in your face

which only caused you to sneeze again 

takes the 6ft apart very seriously - even though you’ve told him a thousand times it doesn’t apply to family living in the same household

drags the hand sanitizer behind him

Hobi:

is borreddddd

Day 1 of quarantine he treated like a pajama party and was having a good time 

but now he’s realized he can’t go further than the backyard and he’s irritable 

give him lots of craft projects, put on all his favorite music 

play hide and seek with him a lot and eventually he’ll be fine

Yoongi:

loves that you can’t go to work anymore

because when you are home for work, he gets to stay in your pocket 

snuggles into your hoodie and falls asleep to your typing

peeks out his head on occasion to stare blearily at your screen and look at your graphs 

shyly picks the colors for your circle graph and is proud he helped 

is just content to snuggle you all day, every day

Jimin:

danced when he heard you now have to work from home

is a little worried when he see’s all the reports but he trusts you’ll take care of him

is happy to get prolonged cuddles in the mornings

while you’re working he entertains himself 

gets immersed in the authors reading their children books online 

watches it every morning for at least 3 hours

pulls you over to watch his favorite ones again when you’re done for the day

Taehyung:

is content to lay on his stomach in the middle of the living room and draw for hours 

asks to bake bread

ends up getting flour in his hair and sneezes 

freezes as soon as he does and looks up at you with big scared eyes 

“momma do I have the corn-virus?” 

“no sweetie you just got flour up your nose.” 

breathes a sigh of relief and goes back to playing with the flour 

doesn’t mind limiting his excursions to the backyard

Jungkook: 

has lost track of all times of day

woke you up at 3am asking for lunch yesterday

being confined at home means his mischief escalates 

knows that things have to be clean to limit the spread of the virus and does his best to help 

makes a game out of cleaning

sings the abc’s while washing his hands

ends up getting soap everywhere

“Jungkook you only have to wash your hands not your whole body” 

Jungkook: *looks up at you with a big grin, his clothes soaked with soap suds in his hair* “BUT ALL CLEAN!” 

let him play with the water he’ll be entertained for hours

ok first of all, we all know this boy loves this paper hearts 

expect the number he makes for you to be amplified tenfold today 

they will be littered literally E V E R Y W H E R E

we’re talking your bed, the table, and all over the floor 

will be offended if you step on one 

please keep them all in a box, he worked hard 

Namjoon:

tried his hardest to write you a poem 

“roses are red, violets are blue, you are my mommy and I love you” 

colored the paper red so you knew it was for valentines day 

got so excited when you gave him superhero valentines day cards to hand out to his friends 

but you’ll have to put the heart closing stickers on yourself because he keeps accidentally folding them in half 

Yoongi:

made one very special paper heart, trimmed with lace and an “I LOVE YOU” in the middle 

shyly gives it to you while looking down 

blushes as red as the card 

when you tell him you love it he will smile so big at the ground 

put it on the fridge, he’ll be beaming with pride 

Hobi: 

wears red all over 

throws little red hearts in the air like it’s New Years 

makes up his own song about valentines day 

sings “I love you” every chance he can get 

gives you a new card every hour

gives all his friends those heart lollipops 

Taehyung: 

got excited when you gave him a box of baby animal valentines to fill out

was absorbed in his task for hours 

when he hands you the bag, you’ll find them all addressed to you 

“Tae don’t you want to give some to your friends?” 

“yeah but you said they go to people you like, and I like you mostest” 

likes how shiny the wrappers on the valentines day candy is

Jimin: 

is here for the free candy that valentines bring 

addresses each card specifically - chooses the best ones for his friends, the ugly ones for his enemies 

gorges himself on chocolate 

eats most of his bag before he gets home 

wants you to buy you a dozen roses and say they’re from him 

he will want one of them for himself 

Jungkook: 

wanted the valentines cards that came with the temporary tattoos 

insisted in covering himself with them 

congratulations, his friends get none 

wanted to share them with you - gave you one spider 

likes how your hand tattoo matches the one covering his chest 

eats an entire bag of heart gummies 

spends hours flattening the foil of every Dove chocolate and carefully keeps the messages to give to you at dinner

Namjoon:

wants to help you in your job search so bad

wants to be helpful

googles jobs 

gets stuck on a site like CoolWorks and reads all the journal entries 

tells you all about how cool it would be if you’re became a white-water rafter or maybe the engineer of a ferry 

you find it cute, even if you are not qualified for those types of jobs 

finds something about whatever job you apply for to hype up even if he doesn't know what dental insurance is 

Jin:

stands over your computer keyboard with his snacks 

drops crumbs into all the cracks 

talks with his mouth full as he asks you questions 

will bug you constantly by poking at your arm while you have a phone interview so keep him out of the room 

wants to know if there will be any benefits for him of your new job 

“yeah you get to keep a roof over your head and food in your belly” 

“ok but do I get a free pen” 

will want to help you pick out your interview outfit - will try to convince you to go in a onesie 

Hobi:

found the brightness keys at the top of the computer and finds it so fun to dim and brighten the lights constantly 

asks questions about why you are applying to the jobs you are and what different things you’d be able to do at each one while he twirls along the brightness keys 

you’ll have to ask him to stop because it becomes almost like strobe lighting and gives you a headache 

mostly wants to know if they’re going to be fun 

if they don’t sound like fun to him he’ll make faces 

but he’ll help you word your cover letters and job points if you ask 

Yoongi:

sits between your hands watching as you type

finds the clicking sounds comforting, even if he can’t read or understand all the words

will eventually rest his head against the mousepad and end up falling asleep because it’s warm  

hypes you up before your interview 

thinks you can do anything and would be perfect for any job 

cuddles you extra if you get stressed out while applying/ getting ready for an interview

Taehyung:

plops himself down with something to chew on and watches you work 

just wants to be near you 

tilts his head at the typing coming up on the screen at first 

then realizes if he presses the letters too it will make some come up on the screen

giggles and keeps pressing the space bar

if you ban him from the space par he’ll discover the shift key 

which is worse 

your resume will end up lOoKing LIKe tHis

leaves a little paper crane and a dandelion on your pillow the morning before your interview

Jimin:

keeps trying to press the power button when he thinks you’re not looking

likes using his hands to love your mouse around the screen 

wants you to write your resume in a colored, cursive font 

pouts when you don’t 

super excited when you get calls and emails back - can’t stop clapping his hands 

wants to go to all your interviews with you 

pouts more when he can’t - stomps his little foot, is upset 

paces the house until you get back, wants to know everything about how it went and what they asked you and if you’re sure he can’t come with to the next one 

Jungkook:

once you open up your computer he is right there wanting to know what you’re doing 

will get the widest grin when he sees you typing 

squeals and will randomly run across your keyboard leaving a ‘ASDFGHJKL;’ across the middle of your cover letter 

yells “HI” when you’re talking on the phone 

the day you leave for your interview he doesn't want to let go of your hand because it was all fun and games but now you’re leaving him and he doesn't like it 

is as nervous for you as you are 

you’ll have to calm him down and make sure he doesn't get sick and tell him you are going to be fine

Jin:

the first thing he wants to do is plan out a list of every kind of cookie you’re going to be making 

like you’ll just come home one day and he tugs you towards the kitchen going “and we have to make gingerbread men and the peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kisses and the sugar cookies and the chocolate ones with the peppermint and...” 

and you’re just like I guess we’re baking a lot then

is too little to do the mixing so he’s in charge of decorating 

put the sprinkles in different little bowls for him so it’s easier 

gets really invested in getting the gingerbread men to have different facial expressions and clothes 

gets himself covered in frosting 

wants to make a gingerbread house 

yells “GOODNIGHT SANTA!” after he puts out the cookies and milk

stands in the hallway in his pj’s staring at the fireplace intently, waiting 

won’t go to bed until you physically pick him up and tuck him in

Namjoon:

wants to cut down a real Christmas tree 

knows he should want the perfect big trees 

but once you get to the tree farm gets really attached to the baby ones and the odd shaped “Charlie Brown trees” 

he gets sad when you walk away from it 

keeps going “momma, what happens to the misshapen ones?” 

gets super pouty “do...do they get left behind?” 

so you end up getting one of them just for him 

put it in the bedroom, he wants to be near it when he sleeps

it can’t hold weight well but Namjoon is proud of the single pink ornament he is able to hang from the top

watches ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ with it and tells it “look! it’s you!” when the little tree comes on the screen 

wants to be read every Christmas story you can find 

Hobi:

loves decorating 

wants to buy all the best Christmas ornaments 

the epitome of “the green frog with the felt hat is to serve the lord”

wants a light up Santa hat 

also wants an ugly Christmas sweater 

wants one for every day of December actually 

so. much. tinsel. 

plays ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ on repeat 

big fan of those singing snowmen things 

wants five 

plays them every morning as soon as he gets up, dances with them 

leaves carrots on Santa’s plate for the reindeer 

Yoongi:

is the most excited about Santa coming 

does research onto how many cookies to leave him and which ones he likes best 

gets so so excited seeing Christmas decorations everywhere 

if you take him shopping with you he will point to every decoration from his pocket and yell “Merry Christmas!” in a really high pitched voice, clapping his hands and bouncing as he looks around in wonder 

likes poinsettias 

specifically likes to get really close to them but holds his hands to his chest while repeating “no touch” to himself 

likes to be in charge of sticking the chocolate kiss in the peanut butter cookies

writes a letter to Santa telling him he's been good 

worries that he’ll get it on time as the North Pole is so far away 

asks if he can leave Santa a scarf too bc it’s cold out 

Jungkook:

wants the biggest tree 

tries his best to untangle the lights - only succeeds in tangling them more

cuts out so many coffee filter snowflakes 

they cover every window 

loves advent calendars 

wants the chocolate to be the first thing he eats every morning 

has a little one piece snowsuit he gets to go outside in 

but don’t let him go too far or else you’ll never find him in the snow 

builds himself a snow fort and had snowball fights with the other members 

makes a snowman that is as big as he is and is so proud 

rosy cheeks and big smiles when he comes in for hot chocolate 

helps you with the gift wrapping as best as he can, pulls the tape for you, helps you place bows and name tags 

is one to jump on you at like 6am screaming “IT’S CHRISTMAS MORNING! GET UP! SANTA CAME SANTA CAME SANTA CAME!” then races out

stares at his stuffed stocking until you come out and tell him to go ahead 

Taehyung:

two words: paper. chains. 

wants to string them all over the house 

obsessed with candy canes 

wears red and white stripped pants 

basically tries to make himself into an elf every day 

loves watching Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 

squeals every time his nose lights up, gets the biggest smile

looks around to make sure you saw it too 

wants colorful lights on the tree

even better if they twinkle or move around 

loves laying underneath the tree and staring up at the lights 

when it’s time to go to bed, don’t be surprised if you find him sleeping underneath the tree

Jimin:

loves the Christmas music 

wants to go caroling  

‘Frosty the Snowman’ is his favorite film

forgets the words tho 

‘frosty the snowman was a nu nu nu nu nu wif a do do do and a butt and nose and TWO eyes made of coal”  

is terrified of a snowman actually coming to life 

if you celebrate Hanukkah he wants to light the menorah every day

tries to touch the wet melting wax 

squeals if it’s hot, squeals if it’s cold

comes to you to show you the wax on his finger

wants you to kiss it better if it hurts 

obsessed with watching one the tops spin round 

if he gets more than one will entertain himself by running around them and getting them all spinning at the same time

Namjoon:

super excited to go on a road trip

so so SO stoked to go camping

wants to help put up the tent

you will have to convince him to stay in it though

for he will beg you to let him sleep on a rock under the stars

will want his own sleeping bag

makes him feel like a big boy

pokes at the ashes to help you re-make the fire in the morning

wants a little mug of coffee too

will walk around the lake's edge if you are near one

stares out and pretends he is King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake is about to bring him Excalibur

will run around the camp with a stick dubbed thus, looking for a Merlin and Knights for his round table

Pocket Tae will volunteer to be Guinevere

might get into a fight with pocket Jk about it

makes a playlist for the road trip

will sit right on the dash if you let him for the long stretches of road

likes to talk about his latest theories on the world as the road goes on 

Jin:

favorite part of road trips is the snacks

will grab things off the shelves and come running to you dragging them behind him

big BIG fan of smores

will sleep on top of the marshmallows in the car to make sure nobody eats them

will mimic the GPS

probably names it something like Road-ah

complains or mocks it whenever it speaks

“Thanks, Road-ah,” “Road-ah! Are we there yet!?”

gets upset when the GPS doesn’t respond

wants access to the radio buttons

will scan until he gets to one of those stations like “Advice from Barbara”

listens to the call-ins

makes comments like “You tell em’ Barbara!” or “You need to leave that man, Sharon!” 

wants to call into Barbara to say hi and tell her about how he’s going camping

you have to remind him that Barbara is probably very busy

will pout

tell him he can write Barbara a letter in the car to pass the time

presses his face to the window and makes kissy faces at other drivers 

Hobi:

Loves to play ‘I Spy’

“I spy with my little eye… something green.” 

“Is it grass?”

squeals so happily when you get it

It’s grass every time but act surprised with him

likes to connect the poles together for the tent

sits happily on the ground whilst doing so

wanders off

might get lost so make sure he doesn’t go too far

will attempt to climb the trees

screams whenever he sees a bug

screams even more when he realizes that they’re everywhere

“I HATE NATURE”

asks to sleep in the car

when is not allowed will ask for his helmet as protection from bugs

will wear it to bed

first one up in the morning

bouncing to watch the sunrise

Yoongi:

didn’t want to go in the first place

but LOVES car rides

likes to “read” the maps 

even if you are using a GPS he will want a paper map to look at

really just likes following the lines with his finger to see where they go

“hey mom where’s *squints* ‘Minnie apple us’?”

coats himself in bug spray – I’m talking layers

deathly afraid of bug bites

keeps his hoodie up and his little dirty converse tied tight

if pocket Hobi has a helmet to protect him from the bugs he wants one too

will sit inside the tent looking through the screen until the fire is going

sits on the log and so content to watch the flames

will want hotdogs

burrows so deep into your sleeping bag you’ll almost have to shake him out to find him in the morning 

Jungkook:

helps you drag kindling over to fire pit until he has his own little pile

will want to attempt lighting the fire

watch him

keep the matches out of his reach

crouches down at the other end of the hole you are weaving the pole through for the tent

squeals when he sees it poke through

runs around the entire campsite exploring

pretends he’s an adventurer hacking his way through tall grasses

figures out a way to climb a tree to get to one of those mushrooms growing on the sides

will want to sit there and observe everything

makes it his fort, pockets Taehyung and Jimin are allowed up

they make leaf hats

gets mud all over himself while he explores but comes back so happy you can’t scold him

give him a task he’ll be happy to sweep the doorway of the tarp with a little broom he made himself

eagerly stares out the window in the car

bounces in his seat

does the arm thing violently when a semi-truck passes in hopes they’ll honk

slug bugs

makes up more because he’s bored – tap Toyota, slap sedan, punch Prius…

Taehyung:

finds the country music station

sings as high as he can

looks dramatically out the window while he does so

“country roads, take me homeeee, to the placeeee, I beLoNGgG! wESt VirGinIA…” 

give him a coloring book and he’ll be quiet and content for hours

wants to sleep in your sleeping bag with you

is fine in daylight but scared once the sun goes down

sings to himself on his way to go potty in the woods

puts mosquito netting over his hat

baggy khaki pants with all the pockets

keeps pretty pebbles he finds around the campsite in them until they’re bulging

will cry if his pants get so heavy they fall down

Jimin:

points out the cows and horses he sees through the windows

if bored sometimes will be quiet for hours and the only thing you’ll hear is a monotone “cows” every once in a while

wants to sing road trip songs

his favorite is ‘the wheels on the bus’

has a book of camp stories he reads out loud to you in the car

will probably make a sign that says “help me I’ve been kidnapped” and hold it to the window 

but nobody will see it because it's tiny

insists on wearing a poncho even if it’s not raining when you get to the campsite

will want to be on your shoulder watching you put the tent together and start the fire

(Please keep in mind Pockets are about the size of a mouse and need to be watched carefully in public places, as the great outdoors is especially dangerous for them)

Namjoon:

will wear one of those tan bucket hats with the strings under the chin

more interested in the creatures on the sand

carries a butterfly net

trips over it and his own two feet

but is a good sport about it

attempts to catch sand fleas

screams if a butterfly comes too close

if a butterfly flies too close will abandon all efforts, drop net and flee

will want to look in the tide pools

better go with him he’ll want to touch and will probably fall in

tries to befriend a crab by crab walking next to it

almost gets pinched

abort abort abort

wanders over to pocket Jungkook’s sand castle and encourages him

will help you watch pocket Jimin and will help dig pocket Tae out of the sand

Jin:

will go adventuring with pocket Joon for a little bit

until the butterfly fiasco 

then he’s outta there

no turning back

goodbye pocket Joon it was nice knowing you

screams until he gets back to his mom

will refuse to go back out into the sunlight until he feels safe

starts picking up random pieces of food on the ground and will attempt to eat them

watch him

will want an ice cream cone

gets vanilla all over his face and sucks it off his fingers

then complains when sand gets stuck to him

does NOT like sand in his pants

if cranky is probably just hungry

sits at the edge of the water and lets the waves crash on him 

“the ocean wishes to take me and I am ready”

“stop being dramatic and have a grape”

Yoongi:

complains

the sun is too bright, the sand is too sandy, the water too wet

covers himself in sunblock

wears long sleeves and long pants to the beach

doesn't want to get in

worried about sharks

give him a bucket hat and a stick, leave him be

he’ll draw pictures in the sand 

will want juice boxes

will sit on the edge of your towel and pout

just wants to go home

if does go in the water will immediately squeal 

“SOMETHING’S TOUCHING ME” and run out

might cry 

is okay once Hobi asks him to race boats

Hobi:

so so SO excited 

climbing all over your beach bag, pretending the strap is a boat mast and he’s sailing

squeals in joy and runs off immediately 

you have to call him back to put sunblock on

complains 

“mommmmmm i don't need it i just wanna playyy”

has a big wide-brimmed sun hat

likes to play in the waves

tries to outrun them before he gets wet

don’t let him go out too far he could get swept away

makes little boats out of sticks and wrappers

races them with pocket Yoongi 

cannot stop talking about it will want to go back the next day

Jungkook:

likes to make sandcastles 

collects little seashells and rocks to decorate it

except some are about half the size of him

so it takes a while

a lot of dragging

but he is determined

another way to prove he is s t r o n g 

makes up an entire storyline to his castle and who lives in it and what everyone inside it does 

then cheers when it gets destroyed by the waves 

yelling “TIDAL WAVE! AHHHH!” and stomping on his own creation

you will have to pick him up to make sure he doesn’t get swept away too

will repeat this process for hours

Taehyung:

ecstatic at the thought of seeing a fish

yells “HERE FISHIES!” 

heaves goldfish into the waves to tempt them closer

is sad when the waves bring them back

“no no that’s for you. for the fishies”

splashes around at the water's edge

has a little red bucket

scoops up water only to throw it on pocket Jungkook and run away

will bring you seashells he finds

“this reminded me of you because it’s really pretty”

hums to himself

super content

Jimin:

wants to get a tan

but gets too hot

runs across the sand doing high knees screaming “HOT HOT HOT HOT”

full body cannonballs into the waves

water fights with pocket Jungkook

will attempt to bury pocket Tae alive in the sand

therefore do not allow him to have a shovel

will try to provoke the seagulls

you have to step in when you see him screaming because one tried to carry him away

will stomp on pocket Jungkooks castles while he’s making them

will end up with a bloody nose

pouts until it stops and he’s allowed to run free again

likes to poke seaweed with a sick going “ewwww”

might throw it on someone

Namjoon:

wants to go hiking every day

takes lots of pictures

collects pretty leaves

will want to press them between the pages of a dictionary

especially likes it when it gets rainy

will probably be Einstein for Halloween

sorts all his Halloween candy into little piles and counts them

will stuff himself until he’s almost sick

candy coma

Jin:

will help you bake all the pies

will be super happy if you let him crimp the edges with his little feet (clean of course)

will make snow angels in the flour

if you go apple picking he’ll want only the best ones

if you decide to make applesauce out of the apples he’ll be such a helpful boy

rolling the cinnamon container over to you, dragging the apple peels over into a pile

use a baby spoon to give him tasters 

will want to try a haunted hayride and brags that he’s brave but screams the entire time and clutches at your hair from his pocket

ends up in fetal position hiding most of the ride

favorite candies are the gummies and will trade anything for more of them from his trick or treat bag

Yoongi:

two words: apple. spice.

he loves it, can’t get enough

all the apple things - apple sauce, apple pie, apple candles - you name it he’ll want it

super excited about Halloween decorations

will doodle different faces on the ghost pops

loves fake spiderwebs covering the house

will ask if they can be kept up all year round

loves the chill in the air because that means layers, blankets, and more long sleeves

likes bonfires

but would much rather have his smore inside over an apple candle flame

Hobi:

dresses himself up as a scarecrow

if he sees a crow will run at it screaming

will want to go through the corn maze

will wear only overalls all fall

likes only the cute things about fall, not the scary stuff

downright refuses to watch scary movies

likes pumpkins and scarecrows only

will throw a tantrum if he sees you decorating with fake spiders

pumpkin cinnamon rolls - need I say more?

Jungkook:

will want to make the largest leaf pile ever seen

put him in your pocket to jump in it tho or else you’ll lose him forever

if he wants to go by himself because he’s a big boy make him his own small pile

will want to go to a haunted house

not even scared just laughs at the actors

if you give him a candy apple he’ll get stuck in the caramel

will want to be something like a vampire or Frankenstein for Halloween

will definitely find a reason to use fake blood whatever he decides

Taehyung:

likes to crunch the leaves

put him outside on the sidewalks and just let him walk around for a bit

will want a photoshoot in a pumpkin patch

wants to go to an apple orchard 

set him on your shoulder 

he’ll excitedly point to the ones he wants you to pick

will want to give each one a hug or a happy pat when you hold it up to him for inspection

loves the hayride up

will scamper around the hay bails as the tractor takes you up to the petting zoo

so giggly when you lift him down to pet the goats or sheep

falls backward in your palm in shock when one of them snorts at him

but then is laughing and reaching for it again 

will eat only applesauce for dinner that night and be content

will put a sheet over his head with holes cut out to be a ghost for Halloween

but really, he’s been so excited he’s been wearing his costume every chance he can get

walks around the house in it, coming up to you randomly to yell “Boo!” then giggles

Jimin:

so excited when he gets to pick out his own mini pumpkin to carve

once it’s hallowed out will be so happy to just sit inside it and giggle

might ask you if he can have a sleepover in it

wants to carve out the face all by himself

it’ll look a little lopsided but it’s cute and he’s so proud of it

will wait all day asking nonstop “is it time yet” to light the candle inside

will sit in the window for hours watching it flicker on the front porch

the most excited about trick or treating

especially the trick

but also about the treating
