A very neat tutorial on decompiling a .bsp file, and converting it to a .vmf file. This also works for Left 4 Dead 2 and other games made on the Source Engine.
This has worked in order for me to fully restore my Grim Fandango map that I was recreating in Source Engine!
With a successful note, this that all of my old maps have been recovered so I can choose which ones to add into the current campaign!
If you are missing the VMF file, and have only the BSP and NAV files of that same map - all you need is the BSP! It will be fully restored! :D
