It’s hot like it always is in Brooklyn during the summers. For once the temperature isn’t making Bucky want to melt, it’s tolerable. While it isn’t too hot, it’s still much safer to stay inside for the other male than it is to go parading around outside and getting into trouble. So he lays sprawled out on his back in the middle of the Rogers’s apartment, windows flung wide open to let what little breeze in there is. His eyes are closed as he lays in the shadows of the room, away from the sun. However an idea strikes him.
Bucky sits up a bit, leaning back on his elbows. “Have you broken out those new paints I got you for your birthday yet?” The male asks, a brow raised. Despite his best friend being colorblind, Steve is an excellent artist. So when Steve’s birthday came around Bucky splurged a little and got Steve a nice expensive set of acrylic paints to experiment with. “--Cause I know of a canvas you can use ‘em on.”
