How is it that doing nothing takes up so much time?

So I'd somehow got it into my head that Una Stubbs was actually called Uma Thurman. When I heard the new fallout boy song, I was rather confused. Only just realised they are different people.

Isn't it great when the lyrics of your favourite song fit how you feel so well. Isn't it great when you forget this, and show someone your favourite song and realise too late that you don't want to expose yourself that much to them.

I was at work and on the bar a couple of days ago, and this one guy (who always orders ginger ale for his hipflask of whiskey) told me to smile, which I find annoying, and I shot back with 'I've just had jaw surgery so it hurts to smile.' It was great. It doesn't anymore, but being told to smile always rubs me up the wrong way.

So I'm having jaw surgery in two days. I know someone who just had this surgery and she told me that it doesn't hurt as much as she thought it would and she feels silly for having been nervous. Her mum told me that she spent the first few days crying in regret...
