You’re 40 today. While we’ve had a longstanding debate who would win in a sanctioned or real street brawl, it’s time for you to realize and face the truth. Van Damme is and always will be a bad ass who could hand Seagal his own. There was an interview given by a Mr. Sly Stallone a few years back where he told the story of an altercation during a party he was throwing and both action stars were in attendance.
Stallone was quoted saying , "At a party in my home in Miami in 1997, Van Damme was tired of Seagal claiming he could kick his ass so he offered Seagal outside into my back yard,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
"Seagal made his excuses and left. But Van Damme, who was berserk, tracked him down at a nightclub and offered him out again," he added.
Though the fight did not ensue the altercation between the two stars, Stallone is sure that Seagal would fall deficient had the brawl taken place. "Van Damme was too strong. Seagal wanted none of it," Stallone said.
In conclusion Bryan, it is obvious who was right and who was wrong. I never wanted to gloat though. As I remember the time at the Water Tower when I learned a valuable and hard lesson. During which I also learned you were my true friend as you could have taken your frustration about my mistake out on me while being urged by some strangers…instead you turned to them and made them flee.
