Country of Brudirma
Newborns are kept blindfolded for the first five years of their life. By doing so they are more likely to develop other senses. From the age of 6 to 10 they are trained to get out of dark rooms by only using their sense of noise. The hearing sense is fully developed during the puberty, later they will keep training at the official state centers or Senchols. Brumers will continue with their adult training until they are considered Standoms, this is considered the highest level of navigational training in the dark. One of the last challenges, before you become a Standom, is to find your way back to your hometown after been dropped 70 miles away in the dark. Brudrima has never and will not, develop an energy source to power up light during the dark hours, it goes against their culture. Brumers believe darkness is the absence of confusion and a great time to connect dreams with inspiration. Dark times are good times.
