After having apologized to Layle, he didn't feel much like returning home. He knew he would more likely than not run into J Bird there and he wasn't in the mood for speaking with her. He knew she would notice that there was something wrong. He wasn't able to hide himself from her as he was with other people. He drove around for a little while, attempting to decide of buying drugs would be a good or bad decision. Eventually, he settled on a small coffee shop called the "Lima Bean". He'd never gone there before, so there was little chance of running into anyone he knew. He parked his car, slamming the door shut, his face a carefully cold mask. He wasn't in the mood for dealing with anyone. Inside, he gave his order to the barista behind the counter, probably scaring her a little more than he had meant to, and went off to grab a chair away from everyone. He slid his cell phone out of his pocket and shot off a text to J Bird, letting her know he would be home later and not to worry.
