We’re still blown away by the enthusiasm the fandom’s shown for our miniBang (it’s now 26 fics and 26 pieces of art!!). And so to thank everyone who signed up, we’ve decided to rec their work in these posts and also to help you to get to know them better. You see, besides old favourites, we’ve also got quite a few newcomers! (See all the spotlight posts here.)

We know that we’ve advertised the miniBang as “one last event before the movie” and now the premier’s moved to November, but the Bond fandom has no time to sigh!

We’ll keep writing and arting and supporting our writers and artists with many reblogs and comments!

Hello! I’m brookebond and I’m one of the co-captains for @teamdoubleoh this year.

I’ve never participated in the games before so be gentle with me! 00Q is my main ship for this lovely fandom so I tend to kind of stick to it like glue. But I can be swayed to jump ship ;)

I write fics and some of you may know me because forger has yelled at me for too much angst. I promise, I can write other things as well!

I’m going to try and post as much content as I can during July and I’m around to help cheer each and every one of you on so we can kick @teamqbranch and win this year!

I should also say that I’m participating in Inceptiversary this year so I’m going to be a busy little bee, but as long as we all keep trucking along together, things should be a box of fluffies!

4: Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why? Too many to count, Egt for her daily updates that are a perfect start to my day. Owlet for continuing to write the best Post winter soldier Bucky pov fic I’ve ever read. @iamanonniemouse for suddenly coming up with the best and most original ideas that just work so well? I have like 200 more but time… 

9: Do you ever have plans to write anything other than fic?Not concrete plans, but yes. I see myself doing something writerly related later, when I actually need a paying job. 

20: 4 sentences from your work that you’re proud of

“Remus likes for things to make sense.

He likes to be able to think them through in his mind’s eye, review all elements of a problem and then see how every piece falls together to form the intended solution. This takes a lot of thinking. His silence is anything but passive.” - Collision Course

I’m more proud of a few older fics, but this is one of the newest ones and I really like this passage :)
