Bronik is a Peruvian artist based in Barcelona Spain. She uses spray and stickers, stencils and tags. She frequently paints blue women. Earlier this year we showed some art by her on Clarion.

Long before the Spanish "discovered" Peru, the Andes were home to the oldest civilization in the Americas and cultures rich with art. Now living in Spain, @StreetArtBCN says Bronik is proud of her Peruvian roots and has become an active figure in the city's street art scene, enthusiastically sharing the symbolism, poetry, and mysticism of her heritage through spray, stickers, stencils, and tags. In late 2018 Bronik spent more than a month sharing a taste of Peru with California and in early 2019 added her last work in Los Angeles on Seaton St in the Arts District. Describing this work which translates into English as "Many fly like leaves, few like birds," Bronik says "Everyday is a challenge, where we never stop learning, take advantage of today, to learn and teach with a soul free of prejudices."  @bronikart/
