If you havenāt seen Broken Path aka Broken Fist aka Attack of the Yakuza you need to get right on that. Itās basically a 90 minute fight scene. Honestly...the plot-to-fight ratio is mental. The final fight features two ex-Power Rangers going at it: Johnny Yong Bosch and Dan Southworth. And they donāt fuck around. The whole film was just Alpha Stunts putting on a show for the audience. JustĀ āLetās see how often and how well we can fight.ā Considering its budget, itās one of the more memorable of theĀ āsecond tierā modern martial arts films.
You can buy it on Amazon.co.uk here for FIVE QUID. Thatās a goddamn steal. You can get the German Blu Ray version of it on Amazon.com but itās almost $40. Worth it but maybe not if you havenāt seen it.

This one was written a couple days ago...I donāt remember what inspired it but my muse suddenly had the first line ready; I think the inspiration was something Iād been watching on TV at the time. Itās titledĀ āSolaceā.
Itās been a while since Iāve talked about this film so I thought Iād make another post about it. āBroken Pathā is basically a 90 minute fight scene starring Johnny Yong Bosch. Yup, the old Black Ranger from Power Rangers. I still canāt believe how overlooked this film is. It came and went and nobody gave a fuck about it. But Iām telling you, if you want a non-stop martial arts film with quality choreography and some seriously brutal action scenes, itās well worth picking this up. in fact, itās currently Ā£1.48 on Amazon.co.uk. and thatās with Prime. So, you UK folks can literally shell out two quid and get a really good martial arts film. US folks, itāll cost you about $3 with a little extra for shipping and handling. Well worth the purchase, Iām telling you. You can buy it here where itās known as āBroken Fistā. Itās a bit like a home invasion horror film (āYouāre Nextā) only with a shitload more kung fu. Go on...buy it.
