Note: I finished this one the day it came out, 1st June. I delayed with the review because I didn't want to give spoilers. And since it just came out recently, I will be giving no spoilers either but it is a MUST READ. γThe plot is fucking sexy and amazing. Even just thinking about the plot, I feel all warm inside but it is not just about feeling hot, it is also about feeling good about yourself. The way Claire was written, wow. γThe pace is outstanding. Things moved really smoothly. Emotions were always steady and right. In some cases it was awkward but that was still the right emotion for that very scene. I think as a book lover that's what I found most sexy. Coz this book is FUCKING SEXY. Everything from the cover, the title and the synopsis. Can we take a moment to appreciate the cover, coz that was such a thirst trap, for me, (π€ͺπ€£π), not that I stared real hard but yeah, I did stare. The colors too... they give such a warm, coz but hot feeling. Yeah (I do sometimes judge books by their covers - excuse me ππ«π π€·ββοΈ). γCharacter development was extraordinary. Oh there was development for sure. And to think I thought Claire would be all over Emery but nope. PS: Emery's strap game saves lives, coz spoiler alert, she came packing. π«ππ πππ€€. Though the only thing I found contradicting was when Claire started to feel a little guilty when she went out with others.. But, but... I still understand why that would happen because seriously, like Emery said, "she can't satisfy your needs"... like I can. Bitch.. I was on that floor coz that shit was true as fuck but Claire got gears and stuff too. I am not shy about sex and everything but I still aspire to be as free Claire Weaver coz that kind of freedom brings joy and happiness, it has to fucking do. Emery... Jesus Fucking Christ Emery... all I can say is that, I would never be hungry, if you catch my drift ππ«πππ€€π . Appreciation Note: Brit Ryder was spectacular on this one.
