⇸rolling your eyes at the goddess of ruin was possibly one of the most ballsiest moves she had attempted. at least for tonight. but it was all in good fun, or at least arty thought as much as she swirled the drink in her glass.

i think iris would’ve had a very happy childhood until the titan war. she and her sister arke were the messengers for the titans together. i imagine they were the sorta twins that did everything in unison and were perfectly identical, with the exception of their wing color

for the happiness headcanon, iris is the sort of person who defaults to cheeriness. even though her life sucks a lot, she’s the personification of the rainbow, which is a symbol of hope and new beginnings and pride. she just can’t help but be joyful all the time, she’s made of good vibes and positive energy.

anger headcanon is harder bc she doesnt really get angry? she’ll get pouty and refuse to talk to people, but she hardly ever yells. she mostly just melts into a weepy puddle of tears. ida and i talked about how many of the argonauts (who almost killed iris’ younger sisters the harpies, and iris had to come in to save them) were descendants of hermes, and how iris would come to olympus after all that happened to yell at him. but the anger would last for a few minutes and then she’d just resort to crying. i think that’s the sole time she’d be actually angry. 

iris’ body is VERY fit. she doesn’t have much body fat and she’s got a lot of muscle, mostly lower body strength due to her running. she’s super flat. iris is also rly short because i hc her as looking more like a gymnast than a long-distance runner. 

iris is bisexual, with a preference for girls! her only relationship was with zephyros, but he cheated on her with podarce (iris’ sister lmao yikes) and was in love with hyacinth (and killed him aha sorry apollo) so i imagine she isnt super attached to him anymore. 

her pet peeve are people complaining about how busy they are, exception of hermes. iris is so constantly running around delivering messages. how would the pantheon work without any communication? she’s also hera’s main assistant and she’s often sent to play tricks on or harass zeus’ lovers and kids, so. iris is very busy and is probably exhausted most of the time. it ticks her off when ppl whine about being busy. 

(Your art is amazing from what I've seen. like, i'd kill to be able to draw like that. i can't draw for shit lol)
