Adric Cavebreaker

As cold and unforgiving as the Island he comes from, Adric gave up on dreams of a better life long ago. After leaving Blackbird Island, a place named for its abundance of crows and ravens with uncanny intelligence, he found himself with few prospects besides killing. His size and strength make him a worthy bodyguard and mercenary for any willing to pay.

He’s a solitary man, often preferring time alone and tolerating small groups. He’s abrasive, crass, and oftentimes rude, which doesn’t help the wider society’s view of Blackbirds. The cold sea is far too difficult for most to traverse in order to see the Island and the rich culture of people that live there.

One assignment in particular will change the course of the meager and humble life he leads on the Mainland and make him the most wanted man alive.
