#brief five

This marks the end of my time helping out in the exhibition space, as they are now locking the rooms ready for assessments and our Viva Voces, on Tuesday. 

Catalogue has been sent to print and I am so relieved! It’s looking fab and such a huge relief. Looking forward to seeing what the final printed outcome looks like!

This is something that is going to be finished up at a later date, as it isn’t top on the list of our priorities at the moment. This will really help bring the show together, and really enforce the theme. 

On the lead up to the print deadline (Friday - eeek), it is now time to finish up on some final tweaks, and getting the file ready for print. This included making sure that everything is spaced appropriately, and adding in the finishing touches to the cover. I can’t wait to have this finished up, it’s been a long task but worth it in the end! Looking forward to seeing the finished outcome when it arrives ready for the grad show. 

These are my proposed A0 images that I would like to be considered to be selected to go into the frames. It would be incredible to have my work blown up this large so I’m keeping all fingers crossed that one of them gets chosen.

Within our show we are going to have seven giant A0 frames, that we get to send our work off to be selectively chosen to placed into the frames. I spent a solid few hours painting these frames today, to make sure that they matched the theme!

It’s amazing how much admin is having to be done in order to even access the money that we need in order to pay for the catalogue! It is a great learning curve however, to see how it all works behind the scenes and how much needs to be done!

It has been a long few days preparing the catalogue, gathering people’s work and then placing it into layouts that I will think will work most effectively - and compliment the students work. After I now have all of the work into place on the catalogue, I can now add in little extra touches that will bring the catalogue to life. I also want to make sure that the best work possible has been chosen to go onto the students pages, and that it does the work justice.
