So this was making the rounds earlier this month and I was tagged by FOUR lovelies! Thank you so much for thinking of me! I’m sorry for my almost full month delay in getting to this. I have excuses! I’ve been moving, I was feeling lazy, and I don’t write ahead very much at all. So most of this is random babbles from random ideas that I have saved on random documents, the notes app on my phone, and physical journals. 🫣 But this was so much fun, so I decided to do all four words in full!
Is this even going around anymore?! 😅 Either way, I’ll tag… @digitaltohru, @loidbriarforger, @nightofnyx8, and @gijipaw! Don't feel obligated. And if you see this and would like to do it, please do! I would absolutely love to read your stuff! Your word is: PERIL.
Warning! Some of these snippets are a bit suggestive. Nothing too graphic, but being super cautious! 🫶

B (from a 5+1 fic where Twilight and Yor share a bed.)
Before she could say anything, Loid awkwardly cleared his throat and gestured to the bed.
"Which side is yours?" he asked, quietly and politely.
Yor slept on one side of the bed consistently since she moved here. The side closest to the door. Suddenly she couldn't remember that though. Too focused on not dying on the spot, too conscious of her breathing and her too fast and too loud heart beat. And all too aware of the man standing next to her in his soft pajamas, his fluffy hair, his pink cheeks, his reading glasses, his soft, bedtime voice.
Her husband.
"Uh, ummmm, this side??" she squeaked, sweeping her hand vaguely across the whole bed.
O (from an upcoming chapter of For you, I can't contain my love)
On top, Yor stretched out, spread and wiggled her toes, leaning back on her hands. Amusement and mischief flickered in her eyes as she charted a path across his chest and up to his neck and finally his face. Slowly drifting to her targets. The dip of his collarbone, a mark on his shoulder, the pulse beating in his neck. Her gaze grew more heated as it landed on his lips and then up to his own, her breathing stuttery and slow.
"Alas, this ride doesn't fit the 'Loid Forger' aesthetic."
Yor took in his appearance. It was true. But it was an awful shame. He looked good in all that leather. His hair was disheveled from the helmet. She wanted to mess it up more with her hands.
"I don't know, Anya would be thrilled if you picked her up to school riding this," she replied. "I don't think she'd ever stop talking about it."
He scoffed. "God forbid."
She pictured Twilight revving up with an adorable and excited Anya strapped in and holding on tightly to her Papa, Bondman stickers decorating her little helmet. Twilight in Hot Dad mode always made her more excited.
T (from some very vague scribbles related to Yuri)
This was his chance. To make things right. To find his answers. To protect his sister and every one else he had unexpectedly come to care about. To fix it.
He tried to remember the advice he received. Stay calm, observe, analyze, predict. And act accordingly.
Yor was faster, dodging effortlessly and moving in with a swift stab in the neck. She used the momentum to keep propelling her body forward, swinging over the ledge and down to the streets below, landing neatly with a flourish.
He was there waiting for her, a cigarette between his lips, wearing all black and a disinterested, laid-back expression with an upturned smirk as he glanced her way.
"There you are," he said calmly, flicking his cigarette away and kicking up the brake to the slick motorbike he was leaning against. He straddled it and started the engine, and Yor may have just killed 20 people, but that didn't have her heart racing near as much as it did watching him do that.

Laughter echoed off the walls, so Yor slapped her hand over her mouth to try to quiet down. She didn't want to wake her brother, he had already been through enough. But she felt so giddy and happy. Her muffled laughs and giggles kept seeping through her fingers, her tummy hurting and her heart soaring. Loid was laughing next to her and it made her feel like champagne fizzling and overflowing out of the bottle. She had made him laugh. She had never heard him laugh like that before. It was lovely. His laugh was deep, but lighter than his voice usually sounded, like someone took the gruff edges out and replaced it with that same champagne.
Yor turned her head and watched him bite the edge of the comforter to stifle his laugh. Oh. Now she was feeling something different entirely.
A (from a little something where Anya keeps her parents awake.)
Alarmed, Loid sat up.
"What's wrong, Anya?" he asked, his heart racing.
"The unicorn ate Bond's pie."
What. "What?"
Anya's big, emerald eyes grew teary. "I tried to stop it! But it was too big and fast! And pink! It was pink, Papa!"
P (from a Yor character study I've been working on for months and absolutely hate.)
Perhaps it was better this way. "Remember who you are." She was not meant to be loved. She was supposed to be alone. Even if being near Loid and talking to Loid made her feel so good, it wasn't ever meant to last. That wasn't part of the arrangement. And one day he would remember that and kindly ask her to leave.
Yor sat on her bed cross legged and did a thought exercise to prepare herself for that day. She looked around her room, taking in all her trinkets and decorations she had acquired over the months, more than she ever owned before. She imagined packing them all away in boxes, taping them shut. She imagined cleaning the room from floor to ceiling, like she was never even here. She imagined patting Bond on the head and hugging Anya one last time.
Ignoring her shocked, confused shouts, he raced down the hall and out the door.
She had forgiven him a million times for a million different awful things. Her patience and love for him was near endless. But she would never forgive him for this.
He was never going to see her again.
It was all over.
Slightly overwhelmed and completely hooked in, Yor leaned in for a kiss. It was slow and thorough, like they didn't just finish a harrowing assignment and make a quick escape. He tasted like tobacco and mint, a combination she was all too used to after all this time with him. She loved it, which was unexpected at first. She also loved the feel of his saliva on her lips, the smoky, heady, sweaty smell coming from his skin, his gloved hands in her hair. It wasn't long before she was whimpering into his mouth and she felt him smirk like he knew she would.

R (from the Forgers Can't Sleep fic)
"Regretfully, some of us have work in the morning," he tried to remind them. Unfortunately, his agreeable wife and his precocious daughter were not listening to him. Anya was bouncing on the bed with Mister Chimera, laughing and dodging Yor's hands as she tried to grab and tickle her.
It didn't look like he would get to sleep anytime soon.
O (from the Bed Sharing Fic)
"Of course not. Thank would be rude," Loid deadpanned.
"So yeah! Should I just take the couch? Ooooor..." Franky trailed off, his eyes darting between Loid and Yor.
S (cheating and continuing this same scene from above)
Silence descended quickly. Loid stiffened and glanced at Yor, who just looked confused. He had to wrap this up before she caught on and he got seriously injured.
"Yes, you'll sleep on the couch," he sighed at the inconvenience. "I guess I'll get you some pillows."
Franky interrupted quickly. "Oh but my back is still reaaaally sore after that injury I got from that thing you made me do for you a few weeks ago, Loid! I don't think I can take a whole night on the cold, hard couch." The alcohol was really making him extra loud and annoying and mischievous.
"Oh gosh! That's terrible! No you can't possibly sleep on the couch!" Yor cried, just as loud. "Though... oh... where will you sleep otherwise?" She turned to Loid.
Silence descended again. Yor's eyes grew wide.
Engrossed in watching him read and cook and walk Bond and drink his coffee and teach Anya things and brush his hair from his face. Enraptured with thoughts of what his hair would feel like between her own fingers, if it was as soft as it looked. If his skin would be warm if she touched him, if she would be even warmer if she hugged him. If his embrace would heal her from the inside out. If she could even ask for such a thing. If she even deserved it.
Then his eyes turned towards her and he cleared his throat with a puzzled, confused expression. She jolted and returned to her yogurt, dipping her spoon in and licking it clean, blushing bright red.
S (from the Forger's Can't Sleep fic)
Sure enough, he was wide awake. His eyes glued to the ceiling. It was silly, he knew logistically and scientifically, it was not possible. His mind played through the last research study he read on paranormal activity. It was implausible. Impossible. It was absolutely ridiculous for a father and a man of his age to be convinced or to even hypothesize that there was a ghost in his house because his six year old daughter thought she heard one.
Still. That noise was really strange.

I (from a fic where Twiyor has uhhhh... a phone "conversation")
Imagining it was easy. Like smoky vapor, the vivid picture of his wife floated into his mind's eye. Yor, stretched out on their bed wearing all that black and all that lace and silk. Her hair fanned out underneath her, dark and flowy. Her cheeks rutty and her chest rising and falling rapidly with each heaving gasp.
He could take his time, stretch out next to her languidly. He could start at her toes and work his way up her body, touching and kissing her throughout, not missing one single inch.
Her needy gasp interrupted his vision.
"My colleagues were appalled. A meeting without pastries. I'm surprised they didn't walk out," Loid said. "They didn't work for the rest of the day though. Just kept complaining about the lack of turnovers."
Yor realized he wasn't really saying anything important. He was just talking, going over the most mundane parts of his day. There was something comforting about it. Soothing. She felt her muscles relax and she took her first big breath since he had settled into bed next to her. As she listened to his deep voice rumble through his afternoon with Anya, her eyelids grew heavy.
"She got stuck on the monkey bars again but she made it two rings further than last time. She's very persistent to make it across. I think you're inspiring her with your feats on the obstacle courses. She says she wants to be as fast as you," his voice was slow and steady in her ear. A whisper just for her to hear. "And she was on top of the jungle gym at the slide and blocking this kid from going down because she said he cut in line."
Before she could fall over, steady hands gripped her hips and squeezed. It felt so good to have his hands on her this way. She felt him slide into place behind her with an amused chuckle.
They were both stubborn and they were both wild with need. They would make it work.
His fingers toyed with the hem of her skirt before flicking it up carelessly.
Underneath him, Yor struggled to match the speed of his hips. But it was hopeless. She had too much else to do, maintaining her balance and gripping onto the bars, taking all of his kisses and focusing on where his hands were roaming. So she laughed in delight and decided to still her own movements completely, letting her husband do whatever he wanted to her.
Engrossed in her voice, he leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He hated being gone so long. He missed his family and his home. The mission was exhausting and unforgiving and working with Nightfall solo these days was particularly brutal. She was so snippy and abrasive, negging him constantly. Hearing Yor talk was like a balm on his agitated nerves, especially when she laughed. He laughed with her as he inhaled the smoke, lifting his head to gaze out the window again. The city lights were twinkling and brighter than before.
She was in the middle of her story, but he didn't particularly care. It was swelling inside him and breaking free, he couldn't hold it in.
"I miss you."
If you made it this far, thank you! 💐
