Simply Coffee is a cafe that opened in Gresham earlier this year. They offer espresso (with Caffe Umbria beans), matcha, chai, cornetti, and a place to relax and slow down. 

This edition of Small Bites includes a new lunch menu at Sunday Sauce, burger content, openings and closings, ice cream, a possible redevelopment on NE Sandy, and more. I hope this weekend treats you well. 

Epiphany (January 6) is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for King Cakes! Whether you want a Galette des Rois, NOLA-style King Cake, or Rosca de Reyes, you can find them all in Portland 

Bobadochi will open on NE Alberta Street, offering an array of boba drinks, mochi donuts, and K-dogs. They’ll be in the old GrindWitTryz/Bunk Sandwiches space.

Hiro Horie of Oyatsupan fame has established Pan Kobo, which focuses on the art and production of shokupan. We stopped by the factory and sat down with Hiro to learn more about Pan Kobo and his history with baking.
