I’m convinced board meetings are about as much fun as having a root canal sans anesthesia. Actually, a root canal might actually be more productive than anything I’ve done today.

Working an extra five hours and then driving home only to almost rear end someone because they don’t know how to turn on their signal light before turning    fucking hell, man, why are people so goddamn stupid a majority of the time? I have no patience for fuckers when I’m driving. We have signal lights for a reason.. fucking use them. Assholes.

Apparently I gave this girl at work the wrong idea when I gave her my number today, because instead of sending me updates about a case, like she said she would, she just sent me an unannounced tit pic while I was holding my pet lizard, who's probably now scarred for life. I'm not even sure how to respond to this.

If you’re going to beat it in an elevator, wipe off the wall when you’re done. Just in case you weren’t aware that it’s unsanitary to leave it there.

You know it’s about time to start engaging in human interaction again when your son starts asking questions about where all your friends went. I can only get away with living under a rock for so long, I guess.

The amount of assholes on my dash is really astounding to me. 

I look away for a hot second and suddenly this place is flooded with people, like we’ve been invaded or something. So - I’m Maisie, right now, I don’t really care if it’s nice to meet me. Hi.

I’ll cut right to the chase, and will save you the long paragraphs, because you probably don’t really care for what I have to say. Lugging boxes from my car, through the building, and into my apartment was way more effort than I cared for, and I forgot how much stuff I brought with me.
