💀💀⠀ ⠀ Alot of my jewelry comes off as androgynous (probably more masculine), because they’re often inspired by my struggles with domestic violence. I often wished I had something hefty on me for protection since I was a kid. Oversized rings or “boyfriend fit” rings were common design fantasies that I couldn’t afford. I saw them as single knuckle dusters, something more subtle than brass knuckles.⠀ ⠀ Being older and having much more control over my life since removing myself from this ongoing toxicity has granted me the space to express much of my childhood trauma without using words.
