“The worst kind of neighbor they could have, and how they deal with them? Ugh, the nosy ones are the worst. They just get put on the strictest information diet possible. I don’t tell them anything if I can avoid it. Their cooking ability (or lack thereof)? I’m a pretty good cook. My dad never cooked much until after my mom died, and then he kind of had to learn more so we learned together, kind of? It’s one of the main things we did together back then. Interior decorating aesthetic? Oh, I’m totally that obnoxious pastel everything person sometimes and then other times I want everything to be dark and ... moodier, I guess. I change it up a lot really, my grandmother likes to help when she visits. But I do tend to lean towards modern styles.”

   Normally he wouldn’t go out to a club with one of his trainees, however Brenna had begged for him to go with her. Since he really didn’t have anything to do after working at the gym, he figured he might as well get out and do something fun for once. He was always work and no play, just like his father.

   The club was packed and Dimitri was a little thrown off by it. However, he was beginning to enjoy his time with Brenna. Halfway through the night, he left her side to go grab a few drinks for them. As he returned, he saw some sleaze trying to talk to her and he could tell that she was looking for a way out of the conversation. With a determined look, he walks back up to her and hands her a drink before wraping one arm around her waist.

   “Sorry I took so long, love.” He says with a charming smile. “I hope you weren’t too lonely without me.” Dimitri leans forward to press a soft kiss to her cheek. “Who’s this?” He asks, looking the man up and down with a glare. “I hope he wasn’t bothering you.”

Brenna liked getting spend time with Dimitri and was thrilled when he finally agreed to do something other then skate with her. As much as she loved skating, she knew that it wasn’t something she was going to pursue professionally, and she’d hoped to prove to Dimitri that they could be friends outside of skating too.

It was a busy night, but Brenna was used to that kind of thing. She’d been sneaking into clubs with her friends for years, so it barely phased her anymore. She bounced along to the music as her coach left to get drinks, but she noticed immediately when another man came up to her. Unfortunately, he didn’t seem capable of taking a hint and she was toying with the idea of letting herself cause a scene and just slapping him when Dimitri came back.

Brenna frowned in confusion as she sat up, looking around and trying to place where the noise was coming from. It took her a moment longer to realize that someone was knocking on her door and she quickly stumble out of bed to see who on earth was at her apartment at three in the morning. She checked the peephole before opening the door, blinking blearily at her friend as she did so. “Aya? What are doing here? What’s wrong?”
