breksheabutter replied to your post:if I cry tomorrow it won’t be because of finals
it’s fine, every questionable dude was in drills today
well that’s good! but de jong & seth need to stop getting injured at opposite times, it’s ruining my unlikely fantasy that they’ll both be part of the same lineup.
PJ ALERT
the Pine Tar game, 1983: the Royals were trailing the Yankees away 4-3 in the 9th and Royal's legend George Brett hit a two run homer, likely to win it. then, the Yankees coach asked the umps to inspect Brett's bat, because he thought there was too much pine tar (a grease to better grip the bat) on it. umpires agreed with the Yankees coach, nullified the home run, and called Brett out. and Brett basically tried to take on the whole umpire staff. it's top moment in Royal's history
I watched it out of curiosity, what a ridiculous situation, but his reaction was hilarious
IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY? IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D
IT IS? IT IS!!! THANKS PJ!

breksheabutter will your league be welcoming any expansion clubs next season?
breksheabutter replied to your post: this morning the busdriver closed the door on me...
when my mom was in middle school, a bus driver shut her in the door on purpose so she ran home, told my grandma and my grandma drove her to school, had my mom point out her bus and my grandma fought the bus driver
on purpose??? why? my grandma would be the same way tho. i'm sure my driver didn't do it on purpose; i was going through the back door so he probably didn't see me. (i was right behind the other people getting off though so i'm not forgiving him yet) i would have fought him myself if i didn't have to get off
