He asked her, hoping to both distract her and offer her more protection in the form of the demoness he called his daughter.

Someone was beside him, holding onto his arm as the two were nestled on the brances of a large tree, hidden by the thick foliage.
He could still hear the soldiers—were they even true soldiers? Or were they mercenaries?—searching the area. Ugh, he absolutely despised those GoIs, the ones that only wanted to kill the anomalous. This one was even worse, as he's heard them commenting about 'selling prices' or some shit.
The small figure, still fully hidden by a hooded cape, flinched at a particularly close order shouted by one of the soldiers, huddling against Elias's side, who held them close.
The Immortal took a small notebook he always had on himself, alongside a pencil—curse him for forgetting his phone back at the Site—and started writing a message. Then, he teleported it away.
He could only hope that @thealtoclef would get it on time...
