Immortal man
Has been immortal for a long while. He’s been at the Foundation since he was barely 18.
He was born on the 5th of October, 1868, and he joined the Foundation in 1886
Elias means "the Lord is my God", Athan means "eternal life", "immortal", or "rising sun". He absolutely sees the irony.
Demiromantic pansexual
Of Hebrew origin, he became an atheist after all the shit that went down.
His family is originally from Ireland, but migrated to America a couple of generations before his birth.
Was born in the Virginian part of Appalachia.
He's lowkey scared of deer because of being born and raised in Appalachia.
Has a desk in his office with tons of hidden compartments. Only he is able to find shit.
Specialises in cursed artefacts. A bit for trying to break his own curse, a bit so no one will accidentally go through what he did, and a bit for genuine interest. Because he lived for so long, he's one of the major experts the Foundation has.
Interested in robotics as well, he’s very up to date with modern technology
Type Blue (Gifted classification, Thaumaturgic abilities manifested at 17, and he has studied Thaumaturgy for over 60 years after being freed from containment, so he's quite skilled. He uses the Wish method, aka through mental effort, via emotions, memories or fragments of knowledge).
Also uses cursed artefacts to aid himself in the use of Thaumaturgy.
His old/official designation is SCP-963-2.
Never call him an it or by his SCP number. He will lose his shit on you.
Used to have fiery red hair, but they partially turned pure white after the first revival. Now they're red with large white streaks.
Stopped aging at 36, both physically and mentally.
Sometimes crossdresses, tried a lot of things in his 157 years alive, and found out that he likes that. Not many know it
Always has pads, painkillers and whatnot on his person for his female colleagues
Sometimes covers mirrors and generally avoid his reflection
Has a tendency to call people ‘kiddo’ (mostly junior researchers)
His eyes were originally green, now have red patterns and white pupils after the first revival
Is around 5'11" and lean, with curly hair reaching his shoulder blades and put in a low ponytail or braid, with a goatee (it has white streaks as well), pale skin, slightly pointed ears from the immortality, and with freckles and minor scarring all over.
He has delicate green-red swirling markings on his skin, derived from both his extensive study of Thaumaturgy.
Has a vivisection scar on his torso from one of his father's “experiments”. Very sensible about it.
First died at 22 years old, his real age is of 157 years old
SCP-963-1 is a jewel/amulet made of the flesh, bones, and blood of a dead metal God, and gives immortality to those who are killed while holding it, binding their soul to it.
The amulet is fused to Elias's chest and acts as both his heart and anchor. His real heart was destroyed when he died, so the amulet took its place.
Elias is required to leave 963-1 exposed, so he wears shirts (usually a tight turtleneck) with a custom-made hole to frame 963-1
If his body is killed, he will regenerate until the body is fully healed and functional, and then he'll wake up. The process doesn't leave scars unless the wound is massive.
His Immortality type is Type 8: Reliant Immortality (he's benefited by one or more other types of Immortality, in this case Type 3: Immortality via Regeneration, and Type 4: Immortality via Resurrection, as long as the Amulet exists.)
Breen can't remove it no matter how much he tries. He hated it, but came to terms with it.
If someone touches 963-1, they're forced to revive the memories of one of Breen's deaths at random. None is pleasant, and it has traumatised more than one person. Elias can “deactivate” the ability, though.
Usually quite calm, but has his moments of pure chaos, especially if near Dr. Clef and Dr. Kondraki.
An abysmal cook, but a very good baker. Tends to gift sweets to his colleagues and memorised their preferences
He likes to make bets on things that happen in the Foundation, and he's usually right as well.
Director of Personnel at Site-17, but usually moves between it and Site-19. Because of that, he has all the information on the Personnel of the Sites he is placed in. Sometimes it cause tensions because he knows it all, but he never did anything with it
All of his family is interwoven with the Foundation in some way: Micah Amos Breen, aka O5-6, is his older brother. Terence Jacob “TJ” Breen, aka SCP-590, is his younger brother. Abigail Cora Breen, aka SCP-321, is his youngest sister. His other younger sister, Eleanor Bridget Breen Leclair, is instead a member of the Serpent’s Hand, a rival GOI. His father, Adam Breen, was a former O5 member, O5-12 and his mother, Evelyn Breen, was a former Foundation nurse.
Deeply loyal to the Foundation and people he ends up caring about, he won’t hesitate to put himself in harm's way if needed.
Drinks the worst coffee ever on a daily basis. Said coffee could kill anyone but him on the spot for how much caffeine there’s in it.
Also likes energy drinks, but drinks them when not in professional settings, like when he’s at his on-site apartment
Tends to act like a little shit around people who try to get close to him as a “test” to see if they’ll truly stick around. He still has difficulties trusting and has attachment issues due to his immortality, but he feels like he’ll go mad if he isolates himself.
Started to follow the saying that says “Every person has two deaths, when they are buried in the ground and the last time someone says their name. In some ways people can be immortal”. It helps, he found out, with the grief of losing people he cares about
In a relationship with Dr Simon Glass.
Has been contained for the first five years after becoming immortal, stripped of his identity and experimented on. The former O5-12 did that because he thought that the Amulet might be the key to get his daughter back. It went on until O5-12 was killed. Don’t mention him to Breen.
Wears a lot of jewellery, both cursed and normal.
Gossips a lot with Dr. Agatha Rights, he has all the dirt.
Uses a dagger as his primary weapon.
He can't shoot, it always ends badly.
Has an adoptive daughter, a 15-year-old demon named Aalish.
Elias's body rarely scars due to his regeneration. Scars only stay if they also affect him emotionally.
Most of his scars are from his containment.
No one has never caught more than faint glimpses of his scars, as he hides them under clothes and with illusions.
His role as Director of Personnel means that he has access to every single personnel file the Foundation has. Those files are the unredacted versions, so he has access to everything regarding the people who work for the Foundation.
He can access some of the files of the more important/critical SCPs (mainly the Apollyon and Thaumiel ones), important members of hostile, rival, and allied GoIs, and of any people of interest.
He can also interact with/study several important SCPs (his immortality helps because, even if he dies, he will come back)
He reports directly to the Council if something happens
He’s secretly part of the O5 Council as O5-8, The Eternal/The God’s Heart. His role as an O5 is basically the same as his role as Director of Personnel.

O5-8, "The Eternal"/"The God’s Heart". Unknown descent. Unknown origin. Unknown age. Real name unknown, responds only to his codenames or “E”. Age, gender, and aspect changes every minute. Only the other members of the Council know his identity. Rumours say he’s a longtime member of the Foundation. Tends to appear and disappear with startling ease. Rumoured to be either a Type Blue (Thaumaturgist) or a Type Green (Reality Bender). Takes care of all matters regarding personnel, including hiring, background checks, and similar
