Brenner, quick, why are you Vecna? The whole “is Edward or Henry or Brenner Jr or Brenner Sr Vecna?” thing makes me think of how Hellraiser/Pinhead is a massive source of confirmed inspo for Vecna and the idea that the title/position of Hell Priest has been adopted by various Cenobites over the years, rather than just being one guy the entire time. Is everyone playing hot potato with being Vecna and passing it around by messing with the timeline & therefore messing with the outcome of who becomes Vecna??
Anyway! Lots to think about.

staring at brecna/brenner-vecna like. all of vecna’s wizard references/dnd vecna being a wizard versus the fact that wizards DON’T have innate powers that theyre born with & instead get their power by studying magic like scientists…. versus henward having been BORN with powers and NOT having any wizard coding (instead, he’s a Sorcerer which is Not the same thing)… can’t wait for the real/og vecna to be brecna versus whatever henward vecna thing is going on to be the result of brenner meddling with timelines/the outcome of events… (staring at henward’s “it wasnt supposed to end like this” line in nina)
