The broke tgirl's guide to breast forms
This guide presents a cost-free way of making passable breast forms
To make them, you will need one to two pairs of socks, of variable length and textile depending on your needs. If you use multiple pair, make sure they are either identical or at least close in length.
The process described here is generally simple to execute, stays in shape decently well, and can be reshaped somewhat accurately.
Longer socks, and more socks will make bigger forms, but generally be softer. Shorter socks will make a more rigid result. In a similar way, certain textiles or type of socks (like sports socks, or on the opposite, very soft thick socks) will affect the rigidity of the form. You may adapt the technique for the result you want at any time. Thick, long socks are my personal recommendation for sizeable forms.
(Description of the method in the image description)
The only issue with this technique that we know of is that the center of the form tends to be a bit hollow, which we find a minor drawback overall. We hope you enjoy the results!
One last tip: for better results, you may use a bra to hold them in place, but a pinched shirt also works.
Ahh face reveal i know i don’t look like a girl i will shve my facial hair tomorrow but my breast forms came in and very excited :D
I don't really get gender dysphoria, but........ hips and tits are good for gender euphoria 🥰🥰
already sent this to someone but wanted to make it a proper post too
trying to work out and plan packers and breast forms that could be brought into bubble baths and pools, i just kind of wanted to tell someone about it.
see the thing is youre only meant to use silicone with more realistic type packers and breast forms cause thats the only material that can be properly cleaned (to avoid bacterial, skin irritation, just general hygiene, also you cant but dirty stuff near your junk if were talking packers thats extra dangerous) and the material that lasts the longest
but then theres the whole mess of getting silicone soft enough to make realistic prosthetics and the fact that type of silicone is so delicate (youre able to repair tears you use sil-poxy for that i have a guide on it, youll need a guide to use and buy sil-poxy thats still good and saftey instructions with it because its a toxic chemical) and needs to be powdered and cant be used during rough rigorous activity and you dont want anything thats not ph neutral on it itll ruin it so if youre working out or swimming or in a bubblebath you cant really use them without ruining them.
so youd think ok then ill use breast forms and or packers made of fabric or yarn but the thing is those soak up liquid so much theyd get to heavy to even stay put, and you also have the issue of having to ring them out when you exit the water and then washing and drying and worrying about molding if you filled them with stuffing, if you filled them with uncooked rice or something like that you have to worry about molding anyway but now even more, and if you use those bead from stuffed animals it gets to heavy and doesnt have the right squish. so then what are you meant to do. (read this as frustration not like a sales mans questioning in an ad) im trying to plan something that works and so far im thinking the mesh lining from swim trunks for the fabric of the prosthetic(ive checked the mesh is small enough for the filling to not escape), for the soft filling a loofah(youd have to snip the string holding it and cut off what you need but it would work) and for weighing the prosthetic down the beads from stuffed animals(these dont mold and can stay in water and be washed theyre also non toxic if you get the right ones), but not to many just enough to give it reasonable weight and hang. that way it looks and hangs and feels right, but its still waterproof, it wont mold, its fast drying and doesnt soak up all the water, and it can handle rigorous activity, liquid and soaps that arent ph neutral. so safe for working out, bubble baths, swimming, waterparks, slip and slides, canoeing, paddleboarding, surfing, whatever.
because i live near alot of water and im thinking what if my friends with their water sports need things? and what if theres other people who do watersports or just generally are in and out of water or baths and need these things because of crushing dysphoria but they have to pick between their hobbies(very good and healthy to do, necessary) and not being crushingly dysphoric(very good and healthy to do and very necessary) yes tape is safe for workout but what about prosthetics and what about tucking?? ill need to look into that next
now i just need to look up what on earth kind of stitch would work on mesh fabric (i already have the patterns and measurements for both breast forms and packers thats like the first thing on my blog ha)
(just a reminder this is fun for me im having fun i enjoy making things this is not altruistic or a burden my blog is very very good for my mental health and it gives me reasons to make things and share them which is very very good for me and currently one of the only things keeping me going, i just am i tiny bit frustrated thats all)
edit: i want to make it right now so so badly but its 2 am and i need to fix my sleep schedule or at least switch to something relaxing or laying down and resting but ohhh i want to make something but i dont even have a spare loofah i dont want to sacrifice mine and i dont have spare swimming trunks to wreck either i need spare materials but there are other things i need first that take priority money wise and also i need to rest!!

its been months and i have new people here(well really any people at all, i didnt have anyone following in the beginning months i would be addressing these posts to no one but i knew it was all for the people who would see them eventually) but i wanted to rexplain for the new people(again everyone) how this all started and why i did what i did
i mess around with special effects makeup and soft silicone for prosthetics or props and fake organs and so i know a good bit about what soft packers and breast forms are made of and because of that what you want to look for in your soft prosthetics like packers and breast forms and also how to adhere them(thats the main thing i know the most about and originally why this blog was made, i branched out a bit but this is still my main specialty. but i do have memory issues so while i know a lot about this topic i dont always remember it all thats why i write so much so i can always look back and remember)
i have a massive post explaining why i recommend the packers i reccomend but i dont think ive gone into adhesive on recent masterlist or on my blog since about april so ill explain again and maybe stick this on the masterlist
because packers and breast forms are made of silicone they need silicone adhesive, usually something like pros aid is what people recommend but pros aid doesnt stay on for a fulll long day its meant to loose its grip over time so its easy to take off after like eight ish hours thats great for special effects prosthetics but not for things like packers or breast forms someones packer or breast slipping off in the middle of something is kind of everyones worst nightmare
so instead i recommended originally ten aces its what i saw online and when i tested it it worked, also its a spray which makes for easier application and it was way cheaper then the little adhesive bottles made for sfx make up so i figured cheaper and spray bottle was a good option
but then i found something better, it lasts longer, its safe to spray directly on skin, the fumes arent as bad, and its cheaper for more product, skinster medical adhesive. i tested it and it worked better. before i continue i want to cut in and explain, ten aces and and skinster are made for catheters and other medical equipment along with wigs this will come up again later.
so the new spray was great it and its adhesive remover were cheap and more product for money, skin safe, and loads of other pros but it was still a mess to apply and it took time to dry. something that sprays adhesive just by nature is going to get everywhere, i used to have to prep my entire bathroom counter with a layer of paper towels and open all the doors, get the gloves and mask and safety glasses and cover everything i didnt want sticking in Vaseline(a trick i learned only after months of testing) and even then there was this residue left on everything including the prosthetic i couldn't really ever fully get out. on top of that who was really realistically going to be able to get this stuff? even the cheaper option was still expensive, it was a completely mess to use and it took so much time. theres no way you could use this without getting caught either what kind of excuse does the average person have to buy medical grade silicone adhesive? and safety glasses, a mask, latex gloves, Vaseline, thats alot of things to buy, and if you already have people on your ass youre going to get even more flak for wanting to buy these things. besides the glue made fumes meaning youd have to have all your doors open and the fan on or go outside to even use it and it takes five minutes to dry and thats only if you do one layer. Someone is going to get caught, someone is going to try this and their family or roommate is going to walk by and see the open door or window and see the prosthetic and safety gear and that person will get caught. i need a better option.
so i started looking for alternatives, and i didnt find any theres breast form tape but thats expensive there isnt a lot per package and its hard to get your hands on. now were circling back to the wig thing, i looked it up after a while and the reason silicone adhesive works on wigs is because sometimes the wigs have silicone in them and even when they dont its a good strong skin safe adhesive. then i remembered wig tape, if wigs used silicone adhesive then the adhesive in the wig tape might be silicone adhesive, i checked and it was. i checked where to buy it, you can get it almost anywhere where i live because wearing wigs is so common, i checked how much it was per roll, its cheap, way cheaper then breast form tape or fashion tape or the spray adhesives and more per roll. because its not a glue theres no fumes or safety gear needed and you dont need to prep your surface or air your room out(making you less likely to be outed) i tested it, it works it even has a stronger hold then the glue. i added it to my list.
of course besides all this i was doing strength tests time tests and more tests between all the adhesives thats why i can come on here and tell you what works best, whats mess free, whats most comfortable, whats less of a skin irritant. and the wig tape really is the winner, let me explain, just to start you need a adhesvie remover to get the glue to unstick and thats not even counting the layer of glue left on your body, it gets in your body hair and sticks to your skin even if you clean it off the way youre supposed too sometimes it dosnt all come off and its really hard to tell how much you have on you once you reach the point of already washing off, is it residue? or is it actually the glue? is it on your hands or your skin? its not impossible to manage but it is a mess and it takes up a lot of time and patience and energy. if you dont get the adhesive off your body traps sweat and skin cells under it and youll break out under the glue, its true the glue will eventually deteriorate away within a couple days so its not a issue but the break outs are a issue. youre going to be using this stuff to pack and for breast forms your pelvis and stomach, and your chest is the last place you want break outs.
but with the tape the adhesive stays on the tape so when you peel it off when youre done with it you get some residue on you but its not layers of adhesvie stuck onto you and youre less likely to break out. and like i said before because its not glue theres no fumes or drying times you just cut the tape put it on the prosthetic trim the edhes peel the paper off the other side of the tape and stick it on (after youve already prepped your area of course) thats much cleaner, easier, and safer application and removal. and its cheaper, easier to find, more prodcut per money. it really is just the best solution i could find and im really proud of it, it took a really long time to put together theres the testing the past half year but also the research ive been doing since around since like 2018 that lead up to all this in the first place
for fabric packers if youre taking them in the bath or a pool make sure to waterproof them you can use wax or hairspray to coat the pieces id recommend doing the outside and inside and any pieces inside like if you have fabric balls in there same thing with fabric breast forms but i mentioned packers specifically cause the fabric recommended for the packer pattern i have is felt for both breast forms and packers you could also use a wicking fabric instead if you swim alot and need to or use the fabric from a backpack for something thicker and sturdier
