Thoughts on 6x07 Chenford
The invite Aaron and Grey to Tamaraâs party: Give Lucy a break people if she wants to be a little petty itâs ok. The girl has been eating shit for 7 episodes straight. Break ups arenât perfect, they are messy and uncomfortable and they suck. Especially when you have to see the other person all the time. Itâs human to be be petty, angry, sad.
Lucy and Grey talking: And Lucyâs whole speech was đ§âđłđ
And their last interactionâŚ.. I loved it. Because it really fits them both. Tim is the no talk about feelings guy who is desperate to go back to a normal he can cope with, without dealing with the shitshow that his life has become.
And Lucy is Lucy. Talk about our feelings , go through the stages of grief.
And the thing is I get the feeling that while Tim broke up with her romantically, he believes that they can go back to where they were before. Be normal. Him being closed off and pretending that he hates Lucy being all up in his business.
And our girl shut that down. You are not gonna talk ok fine I am done.
And that felt like the final push for him to start therapy.
(Not gonna lie his face broke me a little.)
And I think thatâs what we will get at the end of the season, a real conversation.
I donât think smth is going to go down with Dr and Tim romantically. I didnât get the vibes. (I could be wrong of course). Even at the last scene with the door closing( who does therapy with the door open in a building with other people?)
Also it doesnât really makes sense for Tim to do therapy with Dr London? He clearly has issues he canât talk about within the department.
Which I think itâs either lazy on the writing part or Dr L is going to be proved shady and he is gonna let something slip(?)
Tim being all Ass Tim at the shop scenes was also on point. He doesnât want to talk. He broke up with her of course he is not depressed. What the hell are you talking about? (And makes me think about the tim reverts to season one Tim tease we got at the interview).
