i don't often get to say "this game does something i have never seen in a roblox simulator game before". and in all my years of playing roblox i can tell you if someone says that, it is either a good thing or a really bad thing.
as far as the simulator gameplay goes, there's three to four "jobs" you can do, and all the players in the server are working together to produce bread. in order:
use a bag of seeds to plant wheat in the field.
harvest fully-grown wheat with a scythe until they make wheat bales.
roll the wheat bales into a grinder to produce flour.
add the right amount of water to the flour to make dough (which turns into bread, and then turns into money.)
this is surprisingly more depth than most roblox simulator games i see, but the bar is really low there. overall a pretty simple to grasp concept. in particular i find the last step actually kind of fun.
this game is also like, a persistent and permanent and global world across all servers. i had no idea what they meant by this until i learned there is Real Estate in this game. you can rent an apartment and the rent varies based on area (if you have more neighbors, the rent goes up). rent is paid once per real-world day using in-game currency.
like any self-respecting roblox game with rentable homes you can decorate the space and invite other people to it but like, this ain't about her. smells a little "dark patterns" for a game to expect you to keep up playtime or you lose your home, right?
that's because it is, but also, luckily for you, there is a way to make passive income WITHOUT playing the game!
that's right, you can INVEST in the bakery you work in. every ten minutes or so, you will receive "dividends" based on the profit of the bakery. so you can make money off of other players' labor, even while offline. hooray!
also, apparently there's elections in this game? you need to be level 50 to partake in them but currently the mayor is named Joshua and they post pictures of cats every day.
that's all this game has to offer really (as far as i know). it's got some very intriguing and surprising concepts i've never seen in roblox games before, but i imagine if you played it for the simulator gameplay it'd get repetitive pretty quick - and if it doesn't get repetitive for you, you might have a different problem on your hands. i don't think it's that good, it's just fascinating. the selection of furniture is a little boring also.
a small side note: yesterday the ground was covered in snow in-game, now it's all green. so i think there may be real-time seasons? interesting.
i can see this game being inspired by Tiny Bread Factory, another Roblox game about making bread, considering that one is in the creator of this game's favorites. but that one is decidedly more simple.
