Hi, What happens if breaching leviathan leaves the battlefield? Do my guys untap or do they stay untapped forever? Thanks
Breaching Leviathan being on the battlefield or not has no effect on any creature. When its triggered ability resolves, all nonblue creatures on the battlefield at that time will become tapped and none of those creatures will untap during their controller’s next untap step. There’s no duration to this ability, just standard tap and freeze similar to what Icy Blast or Crippling Chill can do. It keeps each of the creatures from untapping normally during its controller’s untap step once, and that’s it.
