   ' OH, I WOULD never! ' enthusiasm radiates off garry in waves as she rummages around in her kitchen drawers, hurrying from one spot to the next, seemingly caught up in her excitement. once again, her own dislike for a day revolving around spooks is pushed aside, leaving only involvement in the happiness of a child.

“because you IDIOT lightner, this is the DEEP DARK WEB! anything can happen here.” crazed laughter echoes around the orange one. three glowing eyes glitching around the darkness, sound tracks of similar people with their LAUGHTER echo with him as he pops in front of the lightner and leans in.

-----     it  doesn’t  even  register  at  first,  but  a  few  blinks  later,  she  frowns  before  looking  at  him  with  a  raised  eyebrow.     she’s  not  sure  what  it  is,  but  there’s  a  small  warmth  in  her  chest  hearing  those  words  --  especially  from  someone  so  young.    it  makes  her  feel  like  she’s  doing  at  least  something  right  .  .  .

cyber city felt crushingly alone without ralsei or susie. sure, zach was with them, company is company, but they wish that they had at least got to keep a few of their consumables with them, but susie insisted on needing them in case they needed to get out of trouble and that kris could just buy some more.

now, there they were, walking through alleyways with a grumbling stomach as they marched along. but their walk is stopped by a hand looming ahead of their face with a hand holding a CDBagel. turning over to face their companion, they reached out and took the bagel from him.

not feeling too comfortable with vocalizing with zach yet, but still wanting to say thanks without a hand to sign with, kris settled on a simple nod before biting down.

For a moment, he's caught off guard. It was rare enough for someone to come by his cart, hidden away in waterfall that it was. But it is even more rare for someone to come and, compliment him? Tell him he is doing a good job and that he shouldn't quit? That almost never happens.

Well that was certainly another reason to smile for today.
