         “Youse don’ think i’ looks too flashy? Wha’ abou’ my make up? Are my lines straigh’?” {/It was important to her! Not only were dresses uncommon in her wardrobe, but also make up was even more uncommon. His reaction...wasn’t something she really expected. He seemed...almost shy by her costume. It was kind of cute watching him get flustered. She’ll never understand why, whether it was his fascination with her, or with her costume. Regardless, she does feel a little better than she did while she was getting dressed.}

         “--Youse look pretty good yerself! Werewolves are adorable! Ya know, until they try ta kill ya. Bu’ then tha’s where I come in an’ patch ‘em all up!”

         “Heh, got ya!”

        {/She steps back after the little kiss to his nose. Of course, Nicole was just trying to be playful and show affection in the only way she knew that was proper. Or at least...proper for two people as close as they were. Nicole sort of knew what she did to Yousuke. How he would get all flustered when she messed with him like this. Never though, has she chalked it up to him actually developing any feelings for her. She always thought it him being awkward and unusual to it like she was. So she thought nothing of it when Yousuke grew shy like he usually does. This was just another day of them toying with each other.

          What she wasn’t exactly expecting, was for him to retaliate as he did. Nicole had been expecting him to complain and just try to play it off as usual. A look of confusion crosses out that smile on her face as he invades her space. It didn’t completely register what was going on until he actually kissed her. Not her cheek, her forehead, or her nose. But instead, on her lips. Just how exactly was she supposed to process this? Was he trying to tell her something? Was he messing with her like this?}

         “I...uh...sorry? I won’ miss nex’ time then...”

        {/Would there be a next time? She’d like for there to be one, that’s for sure. However, she wasn’t sure she could properly work up the nerve to actually kiss him without proper mental preparation. Would Yousuke mind? She’s...ninety percent sure that he wouldn’t mind.}

Nix had seen Yosuke around school before but the two never properly met until now. Her response to seeing him standing there was a bit rude but it caught her by surprise, being noticed like that. Though his questions were also equally surprising but then again, wouldn’t anyone inquire as to why someone was up here alone? Nonetheless, the girl forced a small smile to her face as to keep up the facade that everything was alright. It was nice, having someone to talk to for a change so no reason to ruin it with a frown.

given   free   time   after   the   group   had   settled   in   ,   the   students   had   all   departed   &   cursed   the   rural   lands   that   had   been   inaba   which   held   no   form   of   entertainment   --   ken   absently   peering   about   as   he   tried   to   remember   the   scenery   as   he’d   last   seen   it   ,   picking   apart   his   memories   from   that   one   fateful   day.   the   resurrection   of   what   appeared   to   be   TARTARUS   ,   as   well   as   the   world   weighing   once   more   on   their   shoulders. 

breaking   from   past   thoughts   ,   ken   had   found   himself   at   JUNES   ;   a   smile   as   a   familiar   face   was   caught   in   the   distance.
