3 titles found this morning (that saves me the effort of going to look for them in my reserve). 3 authors from the beginnings of this long running collection (2001 titles, 1951-1997). 

Jean-Gaston Vandel (pen name of Jean Libert & Gaston Vandenpanuyse) wrote 20 titles of social anticipation (tone & inspiration ahead of their time) before concentrating on spionage novels under the pseudonyms Paul Kenny, Jack Murray and Graham Livandert. - : “Territoire Robot” (#43, 1954)

Stefan Wul, 11 novels that will count for ever as highlights of the collection. -: “La Peur géante” (#96)

Jimmy Guieu, 82 novels, a mainstay of the collection. Underrated. At least, his first works were bounding space or time operas. -“Opération Aphrodite” (#47, 1955)

Collection Les 3 AAA -

Circa 20 issues between 1941 and 1947. Paperbacks but the covers were as thin as the book pages. Titles were announced but seemingly never issued. Different shapes and sub-series [“Aventure Amour Audace”, then “Amour Aventure Action”]. Detective novels, thrillers, adventure colored with mystery. Reissues and originals. Published “en Zone Libre” during the Occupation.

Jean Vigneron Confidences d’Amoureuses

collection “Jean de la Hire”

Confidences of lovers....Jean Vigneron was a pen name of legendary french pulp-paperback writer Jean de la Hire, a pioneering author in the field of french science fiction. Surprisingly (?) they published this romance miscellany among De La Hire’s science Fiction and detective novels in the collection “Jean de la Hire” with number #3. (I will soon publish something about this marvellous collection). Like the other titles published in the collection, Confidences d’amoureuses is a reedition/rewriting of vintage De La Hire stuff.
