Back in September I happened to see a call from @martinalatimer asking for pattern tester and decided to try my luck. It was a pleasure to try out this #joyquilt pattern.i started my fabric selection with the #brandonmably stripes from #kaffefassettcollective which played very nicely with the abstract flame print from #kaufman fabrics, the rest were chosen to complement these 2 and the results is bright and modern, I think. Thanks again, Martina! It was an easy pattern, the size is big though. Enjoy!!

Finished another project today!... Made a pair of espadrilles using a Dritz espadrille kit and #KaffeFassett / #BrandonMably fabrics. I altered the pattern to create the pieced toe and ankle strap. I also added an interlining since the fabrics were really light and needed reinforcement. The shoes weren't particularly true to size, so I have added an insole to fill up a bit of the shoe and added the ankle strap to keep me from stepping out of them. I think they turned out cute, but I don't think I'll be making another pair. #dritz #espadrilles #sewing #crafts
