Three weeks since the deaths and-

Olle had killed the Huldran. Why had he done that? The memories of her blood all over him, of the Light Stone turning into a sword as he stood over this creature so much bigger than himself..

He shivered and moved closer to his sister. Lillemor wrapped her arms around him tighter, a squeeze saying I'm here. We're both here. We made it out.

"Do you ever think we'll... stop the nightmares?"

Olle looked up at his sister, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I'm not afraid of the dark, are you?"

He didn't need to say anything for her to understand. He was still absolutely terrified, the nightmare that those nights had been haunting him each time he closed his eyes.

"..Will you stay with me?"

"Always, little brother."

Lillemor tugged him closer, pressing a kiss to his forehead. Usually, before those nights, they'd have gone to their mother whenever nightmares kept them up. But neither of them had told her yet; how were they supposed to tell their mother they'd been through those things only the stories were about?

At least the stories kept it.. better. Those nights was not.
