She's going to be one of the two main characters for book three of the set...her intro will be in book two so spoilers ahead 😈 I'll try to keep them light

She was raised by assassin's and has no clue her family tree, it is assumed her parents were slaves as her last name is blank and that's the name given to freed slaves.
She was the right hand of the assassin king until a mission went South and she was left behind by the other assassins they assumed she died....she did not die she was rescued by a pirate queen Eris and served as her right hand until she met a certain shaman by the name of Morana
She was and is a highly efficient fighter in hand to hand but she prefers to use a knife.
She sees being left by the assassin guild as as a betrayal because she saw them as family ......
she will end up with Morana (that's going to be a fun dynamic)
she is also a little psychotic so she is going to be fun to write

Morana is a shaman aboard the pirate ship who hasn't really been raised amongst her own, so to speak. She is definitely a bit of a wolf, but she randomly adopts people into her pack...but ahh don't threaten them.
Braith is an ex assassin who was aboard another pirate crew's ship until her queen ordered her to be an emissary. She is also rather cold, but in comparison to Morana she may come across as the Saner of the two...but only if you can excuse the murder, mayham and her incurable boredom... Which leads to her poking at nearly everything and everyone for reactions. 🤦
They are both ace leaning but very curious about the other, flirting is more along the line of games and threats that slowly grows into more..but honestly there is still a chance they will stab the other 🤷 both of them have some quirks.
Braith watched her hands intensely as she cleaned off the last bit of blood on the thirteenth skull she had been cleaning for a bouquet of them for Morana who seemed to love them. She didn't want anything to ruin it. She laced in a few flowers through the nasal sockets and woven roses through the eyes.
Once she was done with that she cleansed the area and gathered the bouquet of skulls and flowers woven together and skipped down the hallway towards the shrine. Ignoring the uneasy looks she had gotten, half tempted to cackle as the pirates knew the only time she seemed cheerful was when she was about to kill something. But she didn't want to have that talk with Adoh again about scaring the crew members. At least this time it hadn't been a bouquet of bloody skulls like it had been the first time.
She opened the shrine door to find Morana deeply focused on something. It looked like she was communing with the animals of the sea so she crossed the room and sat crossed legged as she waited. She didn't mind observing her silently. In fact she quite enjoyed getting to see the unguarded side even if it was more focused than relaxed right now. The black hair was a sharp contrast against the antlers headdress it was woven around. The antlers themselves were sharpened to the point they would easily draw blood if Morana wanted them to… the danger was all the more alluring to her it always had been and would always continue to be. She might not feel what others did but Morana was hers just as much as she was the shaman's.
Morana's eyes opened and she chuckled, “I can practically hear you thinking from here, what brings you into my domain?”
“I brought ya something…” she pulled the bouquet out and handed it over, placing a light kiss on her cheek as she went to walk away. She squeaked when Morana pulled her back but she relaxed and let her.
The taller woman kissed the side of her head and said, “Thank you, I know you hate washing the blood off.”
She smirked and said, “You're worth the hassle.. plus it unnerves them further that I know how to do so quickly..”
Morana shook her head and fondly said, “Never change, darlin'”
“I had no plan of it…but I think ya know that by now.” Braith replied.

Tattoos descriptions: the tattoos are similar to vines unless the target was a high risk target then the assassin can get a rose, skull or crown depending on a few things Briath got a crown tattoo attached to some vines at age twelve... It's the same for all of the assassin guild although she has gotten a few tattoos herself for memorable hits.

Briath could probably be the embodiment of trauma warnings she is a ex-assassin who didn't really give up the killing part yet and definitely has some issues to work through although knowing her she probably won't.

im going to bring Braith out to answer this one and may I say she may be the main character for the third book and not introduced until the second but man is she ranting to me already..
Her notes are way longer than most the others 0_o and I thought jade was the impatient one since his is the next book, lol.
