Brainstorm and Perceptor both work at the Iaconi Institute of Advanced Science. They’re the most chaotic lab partners in existence, but get along well.

Synopsis: Brainstorm’s weird shenanigans in the past, the crew observing said shenanigans, speculations about what Brainstorm is and so on. Everyone thinks Brainstorm is the weird one while Percy is ‘normal’. No one can figure out the truth nor Brainstorm’s other form. Brainstorm pulls a Kakashi, plus the most anticlimactic yet unexpected and casual identity reveal and much more.

The following days were quite chaotic. After destroying an entire hunters’ camp (which was totally unintended on Brainstorm’s genius plan) and settling down with the Lost Light crew, Brainstorm could finally have a decent lab for his experiments! Now, the real research into spark disease can begin!

“Perceptor! Look at this!” Brainstorm excitedly pointed the newly set cabinets “These are so much better than the crates we had stacked! And look! They automatically magnetized!” – Brainstorm pushed on the cabinet to demonstrate how it didn’t budge easily.

“Yes? That is good?” – Perceptor looked impassively, not really getting the excitement, this was just a cabinet.

“You don’t get it! These are not meant to be magnetized but they are because of the Lost Light! This must be how titans make sure nothing inside gets wrecked when they transform in and out of their alt modes! They magnetize or integrate all the ‘furniture’ to key places for security and ease of movement!” Brainstorm pointed out “This is more than fascinating- to see such a thing in action right before our optics!”

Brainstorm excitedly gestured with his servos, the chain connecting the case to his wrist tattled with the movement.

“Hm… I see.” Percetor perked up slightly and approached to observe better “This is indeed fascinating. Wonder how they know what needs to be affixed and how the position and orientation are determined?”

Perceptor’s own optic circled, lenses zooming in and out on different places, the artificial eye Brainstorm made also moved but did not help as much with focus, just colors and shapes while the details were blurry at best.

“I am wondering thee same. Great minds think similar after all! Oh! Maybe we can ask Lost Light! It is not like we don’t have the real deal with us to help explain it to us.” – Brainstorm pointed out.

“Except we are not city speakers. We can’t communicate with the titan.” – Perceptor countered the suggestion.
