Seiji: If your journey to becoming a musician ended in failure, what do you think you would be doing now? Favorite childhood memory? What was your first taste of heartbreak like?
Very interesting and thought provoking questions, dear anon.If my journey had ended in failure I would likely have taken over my father’s business. A Ramen Shop. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I am just glad to have gotten this chance to follow my dream.
My favorite childhood memory would have to be My tenth birthday. My parents told me that we could not have a party that year, everyone was too busy and couldn’t make it. So while I sulked, I took a walk around my block,and when I arrived back at my home, all of my friends, cousins and relatives were there.
My first taste of heartbreak, This one pains me even now to think about. There was a boy I cared for very much in high school. And in my time, it was even more frowned upon than it is now. We were close, but kept the true nature of our relationship a secret. One day, as we snuck a kiss before heading separate ways, his father happened upon us. We were drug apart, and my parents were called. The last I had heard, his father had beaten him very badly, and he was taken to hospital. but unfortunately he never recovered.
