Hehe - having some fun with this Italian red. It’s made of 100% Brachetto, a grape that’s usually reserved for fruity, sweet, slightly sparkling wines. But this is something more. This guy is very floral and aromatic on the nose with strawberry notes and potpourri. Strawberries and underripe cherries on the palate with even a hint of watermelon Jolly Rancher. Yum!

Ending the week on a sweet note with this lovely sweet Italian sparkler. Really pretty color and a teasingly sparkling mouthfeel. Sweet fresh and stewed strawberries on the nose. Delicate, nice mousse on the palate with strawberries and quince jelly notes. Just really enjoyable. Not cloying at all because of the great acidity.
