心理症状とは通常は主として患者や親族との面談によって明らかにされる
妄想・誤認・幻覚・うつ・アパシー・不安などが挙げられます
行動症状では通常は患者の観察によって明らかにされます
徘徊焦燥、攻撃性、介護に対する抵抗・不適切な性的行動、破局反応、夕暮れ症候群、文化的に不釣合いな行動収集癖、罵り、つきまといがあります
これらの2つの症状は、重なって出現してきます
