Has anyone wondered what Erik would be like if he hadnât been taken to Wakanda but didnât turn out to be so outwardly angry/murderous? He still does what he does, but he tries to burn the anger quickly. When he isnât on duty he does Big Brother work and social activism in the black community. He helps. He doesnât want to be destructive. The anger and hurt is still there, but it doesnât fuel his every action.
And maybe...maybe heâs in Vienna, and he and TâChaka cross paths. TâChaka, upon seeing him for the first time (even without hearing his name) knows this is his brotherâs child, and he canât even bear to look at him. He keeps walking. He doesnât say anything. Heâs held this secret for 30 years, why blurt it out now?
The secret comes out anyways when TâChaka dies. He doesnât have any aspirations for the throne, and really doesnât know what to do now. Just return to his life before. (TâChalla isnât having that though.)
Just stable, non-murderous, working on his anger, trying to do good without destruction Erik Stevens is really intriguing to me.Â
